thank you sam the man for drawing attention to this barbaric practice.
the compassion and humanity that moves you to be a voice for the lesser creature definitely makes you "the man" in my book.

please do not read if you get overly upset by animal cruelty .
in the indian ocean, they are using live dogs and cats to throw in as bait for sharks.

irrational naturalism (#201) .

abstract .
Yes, I do know that can be applied in my case but then I have that assurance that goes back to the moment that I cried out to God to show me, "What is truth?". He did so and in such a unmistakable way that I knew that Jesus Christ is God, He is my lord and savior and it is in His rest and assurance that I reside! Praise God.
What was that? I mean, what was this unmistakable act that jesus executed to assure you so convincingly?
boy is this great!
i'm watching a movie on it while looking at this board.
this is my first new one in about 6 years.
very nice. i recently got the apple g4 powerbook and it rrrrocks!! i know some people dont go for mac, but i'm a devotee. one person even asked me why i didnt get a "real" computer.
my husband's employer recently supplied him w. the dell inspiron. i did lots of comparisons to that before deciding. his dell keeps crashing. wahaha.
i would recommend the powerbook to anyone shopping for a notebook/laptop. the software is loads of fun. i keep picking it up and hugging and kissing it. I'm in .
slap your coworker day is coming!!.
september 29, 2005 is the official slap your irritating co-workers holiday: do you.
have a co-worker who talks nonstop about nothing, working your last nerve.
can't wait!
you know that annoying little korean girl on gilmore girls.
the one that thinks she knows everything and judges everyone and is real loud and nervously obnoxious?
yeah, she works in my office. along w. tammie, a girl from Boise Idaho that is always repeating everything she says after she says it because i guess hearing herself talk once isnt enough. for example, she says, "interest rates are going up"..."oh my god, i'm like, interest rates are going up...hahaha."
do you have sorta weird habits in your day to day life?.
example: here at work, i will only use one stall in the bathroom.
the one second from the left.
funny, i can never finish a drink as well. i also take a few sips and forget about it or lose interest. or i leave water bottles w. two sips left in the refrigerator. i ask my husband to bring me a drink and he brings my two sip container. i look at him like, you're kidding me, i dont want that!! it drives him batty.
i also have strange eating behaviors, eating the same food everyday. if i get tired of it, i move to something else for awhile then go back to old trusty.
i go this idea from simons post on bob dylan's documentary.. my first choice would be..... joan baez.... she had the most beautiful voice, and with her excellent guitar picking, didn't need any backup music or singers.. next would be ...peter, paul and mary.
they could really harmonize magnificeintly.. what are your favorites?.
hubert.
joni mitchell sang that song chelsea morning.
were the carpenters considered folk music? i like them regardless.
and for real folk music, how did i forget my old boy, Nick Drake! "....pink moon is on its way."
my wife made a comment today about all the pictures of paradise and how none of them ever show the inside of a house.
they are always the same pictures of people outside playing with lions and water in the background.
someone was talking in another post about how hard it is to make the simplest items.
lol, yes. because there will be no industrial business ie, appliance manufacturing going on. if there were factories in operation, that would require corporate entities. unless they were ran by the witness paradise dwellers and done so voluntarily. otherwise the new system still requires the existence of empire conglomerates...which of course are always corrupt;)
so the very modern looking cul-de-sac esque houses are filled with what exactly? i guess no one cares to ask if there will be any kitchenaide mixers surviving the great tribulation. see its just a small sacrifice for paradise. ha.
for any other dylan fans, the bbc have a series of programmes on this week including a new documentary by martin scorsese.
we have tickets to see him in concert soon .

i agree it was well done...much longer than i expected.
also, thought i'd mention this exhibit at experience music project in seattle. though possibly not worth a trip on its own, i should mention its right next to (actually in same building) as the science fiction musuem. and they've extended it through april. http://www.emplive.org/visit/galleries/dylan.asp

joan baez..i second that.
i wish i were a bohemian living in greenwich village in the 60's. only i would take regular showers. bohemians were kinda dirty.
i remember there was one that used to go to my hall.
he would say hi to my dad and my dad would ignore him.
i know now that my father feels bad for that, but at the same time he had no choice.
oh, i see. i was just wondering. i went to the cleveland dc but that was after they moved it from the old pittsburgh stadium to the univ. convocation center. i thought maybe there was a chance we could know each other.
did you happen to know anyone from mercer, pa by chance? i had some friends (the rudlophs) from mercer and we would hang out in youngstown on occasion. oh well if not, thought i'd at least mention it.
