as many of you know, i was divorced in may of this past year, but forced by financial circumstances to continue sharing the marital home with my ex-husband.
that situation alone is very stressful, but add to it my surgery/treatment for breast cancer and the fact that our house is still not on the market for sale (due to repairs that must be completed, but which i am unable to do and ex- doesn't care to do/take care of) was making me feeling like i was living in a holding tank instead of a home.

"the friends came over today, we went to lunch with the friends".

detroit (reuters) - rosa parks, the black seamstress whose refusal to give her seat on a montgomery, alabama, bus to a white man sparked a revolution in american race relations, died on monday at age 92. .
shirley kaigler, parks' lawyer, said she died while taking a nap early on monday evening surrounded by a small group of friends and family members.. "she just fell asleep and didn't wake up," kaigler said.. the cause of death was not immediately known.

Windowless Kingdom Halls
by drahcir yarrum insome time back, i had a disagreement with my brother-in-law, who even though he has doubts about the witnesses, still wants to put on the cloak of being a believer for his mother's sake.
while he acknowledges the doctrinal errors and abysmal treatment of the flock by their elders, he doesn't want to assign a malicious, controlling motivation to it.
i told him that i believed the idea of not having windows in kingdom halls was part of the brain washing that occurs during meeting after meeting during the weeks, months and years.

the kh i attended did not have windows. it may be the exception. it was a safe neighborhood but common sense tells me it was the most cost effective approach.
but you would think the "light bearers" would insist on nothing less than hanging out in rooms w. lots of sunshine. not in the dreary darkness of fluorescence alone. i like to think it's to keep sunlight out and any glimpse of the natural world as to make it a little easier to beat loads of bs into the brains of those in attendance. -

amen soledad. i think the word "imply" is a real understatement.
the first univ. i attended was a quaker school. guess what it was called? Friends University. It was like i couldnt get away from the friends!! LOL. tragic. anyone that is not a friend? well they are worldy folks, associates of the satanic ruler of this wicked system. its either friend or wicked agent provocateurs, making every attempt to seduce "the friends" into joining their life of sinful indulgence. and gringojj, im afraid there just is no in between.
