the elders told me that jehovah would take care of things soon.

The Watchtower Makes Up New Rules As They Go Along
by minimus inone thing you can say about the leaders of the watchtower----they simply do as they please.
whenever they want to make up a new rule to impose upon the helpless "sheep", they simply tell you this is how it is from now on.
for example you could've been a witness and at the same time been a smoker, but in the early 70's, "new light" said that those who smoked actually were involved with the demons!

That was brave and courageous. The Witnesses don't like to have egg on their face, these types of crimes that are commited under the facade of their religion need to be procecuted. The more people that know what goes on behind the secrecy of the Watchtower, the better.

by rebel8 inthe stuff on the news is fascinating me, so i just had to start a thread about it.. yesterday i saw online at the guardian that tom cruise had hired some sort of cult bodyguard (tongue in cheek) to accompany his new girlfriend (katie holmes, an actress) around to continue her inculcation into scientology.
they are allegedly saying they're best friends now, though they met very recently.. i'm now reading the 6/17 issue of entertainment weekly magazine.
it says:he had a scientology massage tent on the set of his newest movie (his retort is he had a capuccino tent too)he compares psychiatry to nazis and claims jung (famous psychiatrist) was editor for nazi papers (a claim a jungian group denies)he says methadone was named after hitler (also refuted by the magazine)he slams brooke shields for using anti-depressants

Usually if you give people enough rope, they will hang themselves. Tom Cruise is doing just that. The more he opens his mouth about Scientology, the more foolish and ridiculous he looks. I recently saw him on TV and he seemed like a man on a mission to get people to understand what Scientology is truly about. When he spoke, he spoke like he was superior and seemed to talk down to the host. ( remember how we felt when we knew the truth and others didn't? ) I've boycotted Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Kirsty Ally films for years! I would not give one thin dime to see these Scientologists !
