I know the feeling, I'm now back to complete my engineering degree which I left off some 8 years ago in my third year(I know it's laughable) due to pressure my mom was put under for letting me go to university.

"Discovery" landed successfully!!!!!

it's still so fresh in my mind what happened last time a space shuttle tried to land.... .
with so many possibilities of "something" going wrong, it's like a technological miracle each time a space shuttle completes a mission successfully.. i wonder how many more flights the space shuttle will do before it's replaced?

Such space exploration monoploy reserved for ones with "right stuff" has probaby contributed a great deal to most people simply not being interested in space at all. Kinda reminds me of WTBS and their monopoly over the truth.

by LongHairGal ini have to laugh at how hard they try to bring people in by knocking on doors and rv's - but once the people are in they are pushing them out the back door with both hands!
we all remember how hard it was to stay there (even if you believed it all) - let alone the head-trips they put you through!!

I would like to add that even the fact that we have so many people coming to this site as lurkers or occasional defenders of WTBS is a proof in itself that they could not find adequate companionship inside their congregations and WTBS in general otherwise they wouldnt be here. So their very presence is evidence enough that love, brotherhood and companiounship is virtually non-existant among rank and file dubs. Isn't that right JCanon, defd, scholar and others? You need us and this site even if it is for argumentation and debate, you could't ever dream of having such deep discussion inside borg could you? We are your true family. :)

I think we aint seen nothing yet. Already there's a great decline in meeting attendance which is only a first step out for many. This religion has left love and brtherhood loooong time ago and the only thing that is holding it together is feer from being marked or DfD and rules and regulations.

Girls.............do you wiggle when you walk?
by vitty ini feel really embarrassed when i walk my dog down the street, as i know i wiggle but cant help it.
it really seems to have gone out of fashion, a while a go ( ok years ago) when i was young every young girl tried to wiggle when she walked but now they dont know the word!!!
they just seem to show off their bellies and forget the rear!.

Men who are accused of never listening by women now have an excuse - women's voices are more difficult for men to listen to than other men's.
Reports say researchers at Sheffield University in northern England have discovered startling differences in the way the brain responds to male and female sounds.
The research shows men decipher female voices using the auditory part of the brain that processes music, while male voices engage a simpler mechanism.
The Daily Mail quotes researcher Michael Hunter as saying, "the female voice is actually more complex than the male voice, due to differences in the size and shape of the vocal cords and larynx between men and women, and also due to women having greater natural 'melody' in their voices".
"This causes a more complex range of sound frequencies than in a male voice," Mr Hunter said.
The report says the findings may help explain why people suffering hallucinations usually hear male voices - the brain may find it much harder to conjure up a false female voice accurately than a false male voice.
The research is published in the specialist magazine NeuroImage.
