Thanks for posting this Leo. Interestingly in all of that I find 12 instances where they mentioned "Satan" by name and only 1 when they mentioned god they say they worship "Jehovah".
I think that phenomenon is evident even today among modern witnesses who obsess over what "Satan" did, or does, or might do, way more, I'd say many times over more, than fearing central deity of their theology. Even when having a casual conversation with modern dubs just watch how many times they mention "Satan" in their conversation, it not only borders with an obsession it IS an obsession. The whole theology is structured around what "the force of evil" might do. And that is before we even go into the insanity of the arguments themselves.

the talk was solely about fb.
the speaker mentioned that jws are associating with people that would not associate with in real life, often using the excuse that the person is a relative.

Thats horseshit, they are trying to single out one site because of networking opportunities it gives that they can't control and not because of "sex chatter" How come they are not so strongly talking about porn sites?! In fact, if my memory serves me well you can't even post anything obejectionable on the FB as per regulations anyway. A frined of mine apparently had some photos even deleted because they showed her breastfeeding a newborn baby.

dan browns the lost symbol , i was told to read it !
by looloo inan old friend who knew i had always been "searching for truth" told me to read chapter 111 if nothing else , i did , and i dont know if im more scared than when i was in the cult or feel better for reading it (the latter, i think ) he said i should read the davinci code ,angels and demons , then the lost symbol but i feel guilty for reading stuff like that (you can take the girl out the truth but not the truth out the girl ) has anyone else read these books or knows about chapter 111 when it talks of revalation in the bible ?.

Dan is a good story teller and that's all there is to it. He takes a fact or two and then blows it out of proportion which is apparently rather dangerous for people who can't separate fantasy from reality. In fact, if anything what reactions to his stories had shown to me is just how many people can easily be put in a semi-hypnotic state as long as you play on stereotypes in their minds, you can either make them feel gross or enchanted at will. Heck you can put an act, they can be staring you into the face and still think what their minds are experiencing is the gospel truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. If that were the case magician's tricks would never work, but they do because minds of many are too lazy to investigate the real the facts for themselves.
Dan is a writer of fictions, fantasy novels, albeit skillfully embedding them in the real world but fantasies nontheless. Mind you there are 'conspiracies' if you want to put it that way, out there that are skillfully hidden in plain sight while people are gullibly feasting on fantasy missdirection, but ... nevermind. -
