  so this chick is obviously on something or off of her meds.

  she was later arrested.

  her mother claims that she is bipolar and the old lady being abused in the video is fine.

  The girl obviously has mental issues and was probably getting high all day. Looking at that just makes me feel nothing but pity. I have had way too many clients like that, I would have calmed her down in about 2 minutes. She would have been sitting on the floor crying like a child when I was done.

  She has no idea how stupid and ridiculous she looks. That's why I can't stand those mumble mouth rappers because people with weak minds and no parental guidance latch on because that's all they have.

  I absolutely loved how the lady handled it. Dignified and calm.

  My cousin and I at my grandfather's funeral.

  Me: So you are studying to be a witness? I didn't know that.

  Him: Yeah, I married my wife and she is a dutiful one.

  Me: Oh. Well I don't walk other people's paths, if it works for you... (trails off, gives him the "you are so unfortunate" look)

  Him: Well, if it isn't the truth, I will be dead, so what will it matter anyway?

  Me: Looks ahead and pretends I didn't just hear one of the dumbest statements of my life.

  i'm new to the forum.

  i've been lurking for some time, since i was "disconnected" by my husband, "tooktheredpill".

  i'm a 3rd generation witness, and still inside of the borg, because all my family is inside.

  I'm a little late, but your post makes me smile. There are husband's and wives who are going through the process of one spouse finding out and hoping their other spouse catches on. I think this gives a few in here hope.

  Oh how it reminds me of reading my diary at 15. It was Jehovah this and oh Jehovah that and misquoting scriptures because I was so indoctrinated I refused to see the truth.

  Here's the funniest thing, there was no JW witness before the very late 1800s, all those people in the bible were not JWs. Many of them were actually Jewish. I laugh to myself how JW's are so conditioned to believe that the Bible is actually referring to their "religion" and that there wasn't tons of civilizations all over the world that were living at the same time.

  Funny V, I say show him up, old school style - although I am not sure how good it will do.

  i was still in the "troof" a couple of years ago when my mom said that to my face, in front of my husband no less.. he was a jw as well, he couldn't believe it.

  my reply was "well i will give my life to save my children and if god sees fit to punish me for that - that's his choice".

  Mid-life crisis experiences please.............

  do share please...oompa needs to know if he is mental, or just experiencing really difficult adjustment feelings about being lied to his entire freaking life, and having some difficulties with being so alone after having a freaking worldwide bruddahood of friends........................thanks...................oompa.

  i really, really, really wanna get away..........far far away............and think it may help for a total fresh start.......older kids though, and a jw wife...this is going nowhere isn't it.

  Oompa, you can always begin again. Life is all about renewals and facing life with strength.

  I think we have been there, I remember when I was married and I knew I had to change, I wasn't happy, so I slowly started talking about it and imagining my life to be different and finally I had the courage to change it and I did. You create your own reality.

  I think it is about time. I just don't understand the entire government involvement in marriage in the first place. If two adults want to pleg their love and committment to each other, that's their business.

  If I was in california, I would be celebrating - nice pics, Ben. I have gone to a few gay events and with female friends or male friends, but everytime I go with female friends (married with kids), the love we receive is phenomenal. I dig it.

  Graduating from collge next week

  i just wanted share that i am graduating from columbia university next week with an undergraduate degree in sociology at the age of 39. see, it's never too late, for anyone out there considering attending college.. my partner and around 10 of my closest friends will be there to cheer me on, which is overshadowing any disappointment that my family will not be there, or as of today, yet to acknowledge this accomplishment that means so much to me (i sent grad announcements a few weeks ago along with an invite).

  in all honestly, they live across the country so it is an expensive trip.. anyway, despite the student loans, hard work and sacrifices, it has been well worth it.

  i remember back in h.s in the late 1980s, i begged my parents to let me attend college, but of course, the end was coming and it was a waste of time.

  Again, this is one of those insane things about the religion that I so don't agree with - they won't get involved with helping those that are less fortunate that have been hurt by such crisis and sick around with some sick twisted validation over natural occurences, even if they were harmed. You would think that at some point people would realize how absurb it all is.

  i will preface the start of this first by saying this happened many years ago - in 1985 when i had just become a new father myself to my dear son flipper junior, i'll call him.

  when i explain this to you, some of this may appear comical, in fact, now that i overcame it years ago, i can laugh at it, but when you see the totality of the story- when it happened then to me- it was no laughing matter.

  Oh Flipper, my heart just goes out to you. I really believe that a lot of the JW men are repressed sexually and because of that act out in homoerotic ways to deny their own homosexual desires. I have to tell you that as soon as each one of them fell asleep they would have got it and I mean good. Mustard would have been the prequel.

  You have every right to be mad and horrified, honestly, when someone puts their hands on you and exposes your private area and you feel threatened, could be considered a crime, though I am not sure which one.

  I still remember my baby brother acting out at home until we found out that some witness boys had cornered him in the bathroom and forced him to show his penis to them. Everytime I think about it, I would just feel beyond angry - it would take an hour of meditation to get that negative energy out of me.

  Thank you for sharing. You are better than those SOBs. So much better of a person.
