so, i'm heading to the beach for the weekend with some friends, but we decided that we needed to go to the pool to get pre-tanned.. we had a blast, and it was a perfect example of the normal non-illicit activities that witnesses would rather die than engage in.. what better way to start the weekend off then, with some smiles and some in your faceness.. me and my buddy marty.

Most social events in DubLand represent well scripted "agendas" with some absurd watchtower inspired subtext behind it. I have never enjoyed a "spontaneous" moment at a JW social function for the simple fact that you must always be 'performing' the good little dub role, not to mention the required blathering on about jehovah this and jehovah that.

I would say "indifference" is a more appropriate descriptor.
Personally I dont really buy the whole "I love my fellow man" position. Lets be honest. We may love our friends, our family, our pets...but complete strangers? I doubt it. Now, I would come to the aid of a fellow citizen who needed my help in an emergency, but I consider that civic duty, not "love". Love is a strong emotion and concept that should be reserved for special relationships.

The statement "Jehovah's Witnesses have two mighty gods" is completely wrong. Regardless of their biblical distortions, they most certainly draw a greater and lesser distinction between Jesus (as a son of god) of god himself (his father). In any case, they have ONE mighty god, and its a board of directors in Brooklyn NY.
i'll start with a couple.....jws believe that everything in revelation is symbolic except the number 144,000.. jws believe that donating blood is wrong.
yet jws can accept "blood fractions" which can only be recieved if one donates blood!.
Or you could just BTT this one?

i'm not sure if this has been posted before, but i acquired this 'points to consider' about what a dub is willing to accept or not accept when it comes to blood.
as per usual, it appears that they've purposely made this very confusing and they're speaking out both sides of their mouth.
on page 1, it seems one of the options is using your own blood: "...during the course of a surgical operation, i accept all medical procedures involving the use of my own blood except...".
I spewed my coffee when I read "Option C".......
Hmmm, lets see now. The patient is lying half-dead on a gurney in an emergency room, gushing blood from multiple wounds (internally and externally) and comatose, but the Doctor has to "wait" until he/she is "conscious" so they can rationally and calmly discuss the options over tea and biscuits.......this is a brand new pinnacle of Watchtower idiocy.
