i went through a stage of strong resentment and anger, but no longer feel this way.
i think they sincerely believed they were acting in my best interests.

my doctors surgery has a jw on the reception and i dont want her to have access to my notes in am going to ask the doctor to make sure she is denied access is this being spiteful?
she would not talk to me otherwise so why should she have acesses to my most personal information.

haha i hope this doesn't come across as mean or jerky or libelous... but i can totally see defd becoming apostate... he posts here a lot which means he reads even more.
to me it's just a matter of "seeing it when you're ready to"... kind of like those 3d art things that were popular in the mid-90's... it's invisible until you make deep focus and at the same time blur your eyes to what you would normally see.

Far better to err on the side of caution. A dubs first loyalty is to the borg elders. I have personally known cases of JWs working at pharmacies, doctors offices, etc, and shamelessly breaking the laws of patient confidentiality and reporting "moral sins" (e.g. birth control pills, taking blood, etc) to the body of elders.
Talk to the doctor about this, why take a chance?

looking at the world from an evolutionary/natural selection basis, life exists to reproduce.
if it can live through the process, that's fine.
I think to explain love as a by-product of evolution, we have to go back to the first person biologically programmed to love us, our mothers, now clearly this serves to promote the survival of the species, so I would imagine males evolved the capacity to love by modelling this behaviour from their earliest experiences with their mothers, and then translating this onto other females when it came time to find a mate. Of course, this theory is full of holes, but it may account for why females (who would be programmed to love their babies) tend to think more in emotional terms, especially in terms of sex, while men view sex as, well.....sex....with love happening later. Of course, these are horribly crude generalizations !!
