Right, you`re three last posts makes absolutely no sense at all. Is there a some sort of a code in there somewhere, or something? If it`s JW-propaganda, you must excuse me, it`s been sixteen years since I got out, I just found this site cause lately I`ve felt the need to talk to people with similar backgrounds, cause I just can`t shake all the depression and crap this cult has brought me, it`s been with me all my adult life. So if there was something in there that I didn`t understand, well, I haven`t read the Bible very thoroughly in a few years now, I should really do it again real soon. But if there was some "code" or something in there, Michelle, I didn`t quite get it.

Yeah.Who at WT cares that kids suffer, as long as the cash goes into their pockets. I remember at christmas in the 2nd or 3rd grade, my classmates and the teacher at school was going round the christmas tree in the school hall. And it was assumed that I would not participate, and some of the kids were you know, mocking me, for that. So I did it anyway. And was sure afterwards that now God would kill me for sure. F##k you, WT.

For Gods sake Michelle, your posts aren`t even coherent. You write: "I guess you have made YOUR CHOICE then! Did God choose for you? Did He make you choose evil, as you say it? Or have you taken responsibility for your own action? God knows we can't even direct our own steps. michelle".

You actually suceeded in contradicting yourself in course of five sentences. "God knows we can`t even direct our own steps" is like saying we DON`T have free will. The exact opposite of what you are hinting at by "have you taken responsibility for your own actions?". I just recognise incoherent, inlogical JW-speak when it`s thrown at me. You still haven`t answered my previous post.

...and? This only means that the NWT isn`t even being truthful to the text of the Bible. In fact, the WT has rewritten the Bible, changing passages to make them suit THEIR version of Christianity, instead of adapting their religion to what the Bible ACTUALLY says! The NWT is full of words that you won`t find in the original Bible. I know that WT says that this is the "correct" translation of the Bible from greek, and that all former translations have had flaws/errors. This is just untrue, ask any academic expert on ancient greek and/or theology. Now, THAT`s scary indeed! The sect is just turning even more into a cult than it allready is! And I`ll tell you what`s scary: The NWT resembles in many ways an old Bible-translation by a german-catholic priest named Johannes Greber - who had religious ideas that were very different from that of the Catholic church, and in some ways resembled what JWs believe today. The Watchtower even writes about the ungodlyness of Grebers "bible" in the Watchtower, april 1983! - and Greber himself said that he was in contact with the spirit world (spiritism) when he did his translation work! And still, the NWT is almost the exact same translation as Grebers "bible"!

By the way, I`m not really sure about what you are saying. Are you here to promote "the Truth", bring "dissidents" back into the flock? Or have I misunderstood?

yup, FOUND in me! God put it there, when he created me in his image in his image! That would mean that the tendency towards evil either a) comes from God himself!, or b) evil (as a possible choice) must have been created by God, or that c) that good and evil existed from BEFORE God (that he was not the first or only one that has existed from eternity) ...appeared.

WILL MY CHILDREN DIE ??

i was driving in my brothers car with him about 5 years ago (hes now an elder), we were in the middle of a row when he turned to me and told me that when i die at armageddon that i dont need to worry because he said he will look after my kids, this upset me to the point that i made him stop the car and i got out.

a friend of mine (who is a jw) i spoke to about it told me that he was just trying to be cruel and then went on to tell me that any children who are a part of a witness family would die at armageddon.

i would like to know if anyone knows if this true ?

Where have you heard this? I assume you are a practising JW, from this post. This is DEFINITELY not what we used to learn when I grew up in JW, in the late seventies and eighties. Is this a new WT-teaching? If so, I would like to know which WT or Awake this is written in. The logical consequenses of this would be that...all children on the earth would survive Armageddon? - wouldn`t it? The children og non-JWs would not be responsible for their parents reluctance to becoming JWs, would they? Or are you saying that only the children of parents that are JWs (living in accordance with the teachings, or NOT living in accordance with the teachings) shall survive Armageddon? And if so, is that any better/more moral? I sure think you should go talk to the elders of your congregation and ask them about this, cause it sure isn`t what I used to be told back in the days!
