thank you all for your kind words, the funeral was yesterday and I still can't believe she is gone. I still have times when I think "I need to call mom to see how she is doing" only to realize that she is no longer there for me to call.

i mostly post fluff and music posts on this thread more often now but just thought i would let some people here who still know me about what has been goin on with me recently.

my dad about a 7 month battle with lung cancer which metastasized to the bones and he died early wed morning.

my dad was a fascinating man, complex, sometimes open and sometimes a very aloof and detached person.

(a judge will be there at the checkpoint) and of course, if you are legally drunk, you'll be arrested on the spot.. so this weekend in tampa, they'll be sticking needles in your arms if you refuse their demands.

they say they'll be heavily advertising the area that they'll be at over the holiday..

My boyfriends best friend lost his little girl a few weeks ago because some jerk got behind the wheel after leaving the pub. I work in insurance and have people come in who have had 2+ DUI's and who feel no remorse over it, it's always someone elses fault that they drove drunk! Even after paying all the fines and having to go to drivers education classes they still don't learn, so I have no sympathy for them. If you have nothing to hide you should have no problem with being tested!

Oooo Newborn it's not that bad once you get used to it! Let Skype be your friend! One thing that really helps is to send care packages and cards or letters to each other and when you are feeling down read thru them and just like that you remember how much someone loves you. I look forward to seeing my postie every day just in case something comes in the mail :) Cheer up!

I’ve been trying to stay away from this thread but finally decided to give in. White dove, it really bothers me to see this man be so demonized when you have NO PROOF that he wanted anything other than to meet in the park with you, all we have is your ridiculous interpretation of what he said. I would really hate to be a man because they are so likely to be accused of some really shitty things by hysterical women like you.
