((((Arwen))))
Beautifully written, you must feel as if a weight has been lifted off your chest.
Hope Legolas has taken you out for drinks!!
I'm still thinking of a way to get to the island to meet you two, hopefully soon.
Take care sweetie,

arwen's disassociation letter June 8, 2006
by arwen injune 8, 2006. .
dear .
there are many things that i could say....many true accounts that i could attest to of unjust acts done to people and inexcusable sufferings caused by many in the congregations of jehovah's witness to others, at times by myself as well sadly, but there is nothing anyone can do now to make up for the wrongs that have been done to those that have been hurt....leave it in jehovah's hands that is what i have been told by those in charge., this has always been the answer....so i will do just that knowing that he will repay those who have treated others so badly and that continue to do so.

Did you ever find an abandoned animal?
by JH inyesterday morning, while repairing the hose valve outside, i saw a cat in the garage.
he came to me and was rubbing against my legs.
since i already have a cat, and i happened to be at my parents house, and they don't want any animal on their lot, i just pet the cat once, and went inside.

I always seem to find birds.
The first was when I was 5 and a baby bird just learning to fly found his way into my neighbour's apartment. He wouldn't let anyone near him and they were freaking out and screaming over the poor little thing. I walked in and he let me pick him up so I took him home! :-) I was thrilled, he really was too young to be on his on (we knew an orinthologist sp?) and he suggested I keep him for a few weeks and feed him until he could fly on his own. I was in heaven! I fed him bread soaked in milk and spent all my time with him. He would never let anyone else get too close. He finally figured out the flying thing and we set him free in the nearby meadow.
Years later my mom tolfd me that for weeks afterward he would come back to the apartment and hop around the patio doors looking in while I was at school. Awwwww ~ he loved me!

My Story: My Current Religious Experience from Birth to the Present
by the_classicist ini don't believe i've said anything about myself here, so here goes.. i was raised a jehovah's witness from birth.
my family's invovlement in this particular religion began with my great grandmother, a rather lovely woman who lived a long life who made homemade oreos which i had the occasion to enjoy once; she died firm in her beliefs.
my grandmother was subsequently raised in this religion, although not all of her brothers and sisters were, as far as i can reckon.

That was an interesting read, thanks for sharing your story with us.
I understand your feelings of social isolation, I have to force myself to interact with people and it's hard! I've realized that I tend to become friendly with outgoing people that take on the responsibility of calling me and making plans. Left to myself I would be fine without talking to others for a week at a time. :-)
Your studies sound interesting as well. You'll have to share if you come across cool info.

Worked all day Sat. Long and boring= $$$ So I can't really complain about it all that much I guess.
Had friends over that night, watched a movie and played Trivial Pursuit.
Sunday didn't do much of anything except laundry. Yeehaw.

The drive from NB to Halifax is considered The "boring" part of the trip into the province.
Cape Breton is gorgeous (go in the fall and do the cabot trail), Peggy's Cove is probably the best known to tourists and the Annapolis Valley is spectacular. Pretty towns surrounded by farms and the Bay of Fundy.
