  Alert: Witch hunt begins Watchtower 15 july 2011

  reading the posts about the 2011-7-15 watchtower about mentally retarded apostates i foresee the following scenario:.

  1. congregational elders trying to get grip on non regular publishers and inactive witnesses.. 2. the good ones read in the watchtower that apostates are to find in the local congregation.

  3. inactives like me (i hate this name, but i use their language), and liberal witness like me, will be hunted, .

  Normally I'd take offense at that, but when I consider the source it's almost laughable.

  This Years Memeorial and MY heartbreak

  so...this years memorial came and went.. on saturday my mom called to invite my wife, myself and my two little girls to the memorial on sunday, i said thank you but said that we won't be going.. on sunday my older sister called inviting us also.. we didn't go, since my eldest daughter asked about it, i explaine dit to her and asked my wife and her if they wanted to do it at home and they said yes.. so after dinner, we all partook of our lord's sacrifice and i explained to my daughters how the taking in of christ's body and blood is symbolic for become one with christ and god.. we always remember christ and his sacrifice and last meal whenever we eat and "say grace" but, becuase of the whoel memorial meal thing, we decided to do a little more.. i read from luke and john.. it was very nice, very special.. then this morning at 8:30 am my mom calls and reams me for 40 min over the phone.. why anyone would think that i or anyone else would want to be a part of an organization that fills people with som much venom and spit, is beyond me.. she basically said that she gives up on me, that i am taken by satan, that satan is working through me and leading me and tha her heart is borken for my little girls.. my mother.... my heart is broken, there is a pain in my gut....

  Then this morning at 8:30 AM my Mom calls and reams me for 40 min over the phone.

  I'm sure you probably love and respect your mother, but you need to love and respect yourself too. Never let anyone ream you out for 40 minutes, or even 5. If that happens again, tell her you love her and you'll be happy to talk to her when she can be more reasonable. Then hang up the phone.

  I wish some of you could step into the real world with me.

  Ok Rick. Real world: Jehovah's Witnesses comprise about 0.1% of the earth's population. If they all vanished tomorrow most of the real world would not notice. The few who would notice would not care.

  If you're willing to waste what remains of your life madly raving at the insignificant, then go ahead. Don't expect anyone to follow your pathetic example.

  I believe you are mentally unstable and should check yourself into a hospital for a full psychiactric evaluation.

  If Rick's behavior is due to trama from being in the organization, then he should put down his sword, stop swinging it at everything that moves, and go get some counselling for post traumatic stress disorder.

  I think he's a potential danger to himself and those around him. He needs counselling.

  I found one in my mailbox, same as last year. I'm not anyone's "return visit" and no one in this half of the city has any reason to know I was ever a JW. Are they getting desperate? When I was a JW we were not supposed to give invitations to just anybody or throw them into people's mailboxes. We were only supposed to give them to "sincerely interested ones". Has this changed?
