yes, those are photos from a tea party I had a couple of years ago. I'm not doing Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, so I'm thinking of a tea party again, only more along the lines of fruitcake, sherry or port, nuts, that blue cheese from England (name escapes me right now), crackers and pate, chocolates, coffee, tea. What do you think?

Travel to Foreign places.

What's keeping you from doing it?

Fear of tragically dying on land, sea or air trying to get there...
Being eaten by sharks, the plane getting hijacked or crashing, several scenarios that run through my head.
Once I get past that I'm sure nothing will be holding me back

Hortensia- that first picture looks like tea party foods. Reminds me of a place here called Tohono Chul Park, they have this outdoor patio tea room and cucumber sandwiches...MMMMMMMMMM.

well, tuesday was the day for my laser eye surgery.

to be honest - it really wasn't that bad at all!

for all those that commented on my other thread about being chicken - if it's something you are thinking about - i say do it!.

BumbleBee- How did you find a Lasik doctor, Did your Opthamologist give you a recommendation?
I'm finally looking into doing this but I don't know how to go about finding a competent doctor I would trust.
Also what was the total down time- should I expect to be unable to see for a certain amount of time, days?

Pedophile in the hall

Have you reported him to the authorties?

There was a pedophile in my old hall- he'd been in and out of jail for molesting his kids and then all of his grandkids as well. Never got more than a slap on the wrist though- I think the most he served was a consecutive 6 month sentence.
What makes me sick is- aren't known pedophiles not supposed to be able to go within a certain area of children and wouldn't this include places of worship- does anyone know the law on this?
