I was shocked to hear they now feel she was abducted and sold into the sex slave trade.
Where is humanity going????????

My son asked P.O. wife what she was wearing for halloween today at Walmart!
by PaNiCAtTaCk inim assuming this is finally it for me and my family.. i havent been to a meeting in probably 2 and a half months but im just considered weak by most i presume.
i had decided to let my son go trick or treating for the first time this year, after all my wife and i decided to raise him as a normal kid.
so last month when he came home from school and said to us "someone asked me at school what i as going to be for halloween and i told them batman", i just said "oh really" and acted excited for him.

Truth Book from 1974

it was blue, and was intended as a six month home study book.
i think it came out in 1974at an assembly with much fanfare and gasping!.

Boy those were exciting times! 1972
I remember fondly all the older ones still alive at that time! Boy did we have lively Watchtower Studies in those days! Brothers and Sisters were allowed to go on and on and tell stories in their comments!
We had real old timers who remembered the Cedar Point Ohio conventions!!! "Advertize Advertize Advertize The King and His Kingdom!"
One fond memory was the book study I was assigned to. It was in the home of a third generation witness with 9 kids. It was a huge old victorian home and the guy added on to it so much it was kind of like the Winchester mystery home. We used to stay there til 10 on book study nights around their big kitchen table and a pot of tea ( the brothers sipped small cups of homemade wine) and talk and talk about Armageddon and the Paradise to come and what we all hoped for.
Those were the days in the truth!!! I was in a group of 4 young women witness friends. We were all pioneers and we thought life was grand! We were excited and expectant and happy!
We moved in together to the same apartment and shared everything.
Two summers in a row we drove hundreds of miles to the midwest where we were assigned to preach in the rurals of Kansas and New Mexico and Nebraska. We sang songs all the way.
Thoughts of that little blue book brought all that back.

good things alway happen in november, my birthday is in november my sisters birthday is in november, thanksgiving is in november and basketball season is in november.
the air outside feels and smells diffrent this time a year.

by peacefulpete inok this is one for the books, my wife's great grandmother who is a miraculous 94 year old cervical and ovarian cancer survivor and a 87 year old man from the hall were just counselled on the need for a chaperon!
it seems someone was disturbed that the two were alone in her appartment!
she is practically housebound and his visits to shoot the breeze and talk about the old times were the highlight of her week.

Just for the record, I used to visit the elderly sisters in a community home for the aged. They all told me how the old men and women were sleeping around! I know, unbelievable! But I guess you have to be in your 80s and 90s to appreciate they still get the hots for each other! Anyway, these sisters were still very active in the service and conducting Bible studies in the place and told me how important it was not to give the appearance of fooling around behind closed doors with the men in the place. They told me the men were after them! They all said the same thing so I had to believe them.

I can imagine anyone owning and then selling R.E. in San Diego would make money.
