How old were you when you lost your virginity...
by butalbee inhow old were you when you lost your virginity and was it all that you thought it would be?????.
i was 19, and my first time was a complete let down.
i envisioned that gothic romance motif, all about romance and love, i didn't know what i was doing, didn't know sex was like that.

Murder by dog.....murder by shunning
by alamb inhmmmmm............ although a lot of factors weigh in on a person's reaction to shunning, who is guilty in the end?.
i was wondering what the bryant's jw family are thinking, but reverting to my old jw rationale, "that's what happens when you leave the organization.
" i am horrified at what i could rationalize for the society.. maybe dave and the rest who attended the services can help someone in the family who was reconsidering jw policies.

Hi alamb,
Very interesting point here, although it was hard to shun certain ones like your imediate family and friends, you had it drummed into you that they were in the wrong and that they needed to come back to jehovah. I'm sure that there are plenty of witnesses out there who still talk to ones that the congregation decided should be shunned. At this point in time my mother and one of my sisters still shun me and to be truthful with my feelings i would have to say that even if the societys viewpoint was to change and they could feel guilt free about talking to me and tried to i would not want to talk to them, when i needed them the most when i was going through the pain that led to me being disfellowshipped they didnt care, so now i have become hard hearted to them. -

Thank you simon
by chezza inhi simon, firstly i would like to say thank you for allowing us to post on here, its been a real eye opener for me to see that there are other people out in the world like me, that we are not the freaks after all, when i first got disfellowshipped i thought it was a terrible thing, that i was leaving the truth, now, after spending around a month on here i can see i never was in the truth, so thank you for letting me see that.. also can i say its refreshing to see someone admit when they make a mistake, like you did in the thread by sf, thank you for not being too proud to listen.

After i left the org, i really got stuck into reading the worldly books we shouldnt have had time to read, i really like the writer nicholas sparks, he is the guy that wrote message in a bottle that the movie was based on, he also wrote a walk to remember, but his latest book was fabulous too, its called a bend in the road.

Disfellowshipped For Being Raped...
by Anne Marie indear post reader.... i was that young and pretty sister you may have seen...the one with "all those kids".
the one who stuggled to raise her children alone.
the one who was rarely considered as "wife material" because she was "damaged goods".

thanks anne marie for sharing that very painful experience with us, once again it proves the fact the politics still are a big part of this organization, feel free to email me if you need to talk.

What's the Strangest Dream You Ever Had?
by Perry ini just woke up from a dream where my girlfriend and i were testing a new spacecraft for nasa.
the new craft could achieve near orbit on it's own power and speeds of 18,000 miles per hour.
my girlfriend seemed very impressed that i could fly the craft and was astonished that i was a nasa operative.

I used to have this recurring dream night after night for a couple of years, but only when i slept in a certain room at my mums house, the dream stopped after i got married, anyway, its late, very dark outside, no curtains on the windows and the window is open, my sisters and my brother and i are all in the room being silly, all of a sudden some guys come through the window with balaclava's on, at the same time my mum comes in the room and starts yelling at us to make our beds, as they had no sheets on them, we were screaming as the guys were trying to hurt us, and my mum just keeps saying make your beds before you go anywhere at that point i would always wake up.
Interesting thing though this bedroom was facing a house that was believed to be haunted, i wonder if that had anything to do with my dream. -

One day your gonna get caught
by chezza injust thought it would be fun to see all the ways people have been caught in the middle of something, i recently was so embarrassed as i travelled to canada to visit my boyfriend, after we went to the movies we got rather heated in the car shall we say, mind you the car was packed away from all other cars, needless to say as soon as we got our pants down and started to get into motion ;-) a light shone through the window of the car, and guess what, a nice security guard was standing there, i was so embarrassed, he told us we shouldnt be doing that here, what made it even more embarrassing was the fact that we were both over 30 years old and i never ever got caught in the act when i was a teenager, oh wait thats coz i was a dub and didnt have a life.. so come on guys and girls give us all a laugh and tell us your story.

Whats the cruelest thing a JW has eva done to you
by VioletAnai ini think the most thoughtless thing they eva did to me...and it's rather embarrassing...is when i was still a jw at 14.. i'd just had an operation to remove a cyst and my left ovary due to polycystic ovarian syndrome.
so i'm sitting at the district convention and i get up to go and have lunch with my mum cause i was sitting with an sister a little older than me - in her 20's.
so i start walking across the oval and there's people everywhere and i'm getting a few looks, but hey, i was a paranoid teen, they made me agoraphobic, so i didn't think too much of it.
