Danielson's Vacation

i know i haven't been on here in a long time but right now i'm dealing with some issues, besides my stupid ass mistake.

but, hopefully i will be back.

just thought it would be fun to see all the ways people have been caught in the middle of something, i recently was so embarrassed as i travelled to canada to visit my boyfriend, after we went to the movies we got rather heated in the car shall we say, mind you the car was packed away from all other cars, needless to say as soon as we got our pants down and started to get into motion ;-) a light shone through the window of the car, and guess what, a nice security guard was standing there, i was so embarrassed, he told us we shouldnt be doing that here, what made it even more embarrassing was the fact that we were both over 30 years old and i never ever got caught in the act when i was a teenager, oh wait thats coz i was a dub and didnt have a life.. so come on guys and girls give us all a laugh and tell us your story.

Pet Peeves

anyone have any pet peeves they'd like to air?

here's one that just happened at work that is an annoyance for me: when you are speaking and the person interrupts the conversation with a corny play on words or the like.

for example, "i had to sit on the phone on hold for about 5 minutes, waiting .

I have a long list of pet peeves but the two that irritate me the most is the lazy people who live with you that cant take the empty toilet roll off and put a fresh roll up or they do but throw the empty on the floor so I can clean it up for them, and another one is men who cant put the bloody seat down after they go.

Competing In the name of Jehovah!

inspired while posting on another thread, i was wondering, have you ever competed with other jws to get recognition or favour??

i can remember as a kid, being in a book study group with other kids, and when it came time to give an answer that kids could cope with...all kiddie sized hands would fly up and we'd all look at each other in the hope that it was our hand that got chosen.

i remember some kids would burst into tears if they didn't get chosen...and others would scowl or quickly go about looking for the next answer.

I remember like you the enthusiasm when we were kids to get our answers out, and they would always pick the elders kids or the "spiritually strong parents kids", but what used to really irritate me was how a new bible study would come into the hall and instead of using the publishers and i considered myself a spiritually strong publisher at that time(married to an elder), they would always give them to the pioneers, the poor pioneers, who had to foot slog their hours, what made them better than the publishers, after all wasnt the prize the same for pioneers and publishers, the joy of knowing you were pleasing jehovah. Plllllllease.

Hi mak, i use morpheus and other file sharing and you have to search for that stuff to download, but saying that i have downloaded something i thought was fine only to find it is not what i really wanted shall we say, and also be careful as i got a virus from morpheus so i scan everything before i open it.

I know exactly howw you feel, when i was a dub my sister who drifted away from the truth ended up living with a guy and was going to get married, we were invited of course and up to that point it was classed a concience matter if we went, but then the elders decided to go one step further and have her disfellowshipped and TOLD me that i couldnt go to the wedding now, as my husband was an elder it wasnt like i could argue the point,i missed the wedding and feel awful that i didnt go, when i saw the photos i just cried, so now i am d/f and i can talk to her but it still doesnt make up for not being there.

Hi LB, i was once told the best thing to have when you feel like that is tea, black, with fresh ginger and cayenne pepper in it, i gave it to my ex when was sick and it worked a treat, tasted yuck but it worked.

i went out to this nightclub near my work last night (saturday night), and i was having a good old time, when i decided to sit down on a big, flat futon couch near the entrance to one of the dancefloors for a while (it's an outdoors club!).

Dont mean to rain on your parade here but what worries me about this is the fact that they both were there at the same club, forgive me if im wrong here, but maybe she was trying to make her ex jealous or teach him a lesson, and then there is always maybe she is looking for a replacement father for the baby, or maybe, just maybe your are too gorgeous and she just couldnt control herself. And i agree with butlebee you havnt kissed us yet so you dont know who the best kisser is, lol.
