YES INDEED, BLONDIE IS AWESOME!!!! If it wasn't for her, I woulda gone to those awfull WT studies that really suck big time!!! But with her very informative and timely reviews I can decide which ones are more or less barf worthy and choose which ones I can go to that won't make me have to visit the restroom every 5 minutes. BLONDIE, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, I don't even think of going to the meeting unless I read your review.

Enough money to set up an adoption program where good families that want children can adopt for free after being screened and approved and they would also get a little financial help to help raise the child/children. This would help so many children that are in orphanages and stuck in the foster parent program never quite getting a permanent home and family.
I would also like to establish a program that would be mandatory for all kids when they hit the teenage years, where they would experience the reality of bringing a child into this world with all the responsibility that comes along with it, the loss of freedom the endless crying and stress, and the possibility of contracting all the different STD's out there if they are not careful, I know they have a program in place now but I don't think it is mandatory and I don't think boys participate as much as girls. If there was a birth control device that had very small side effects and was completely reversible and if I had my way, I would make it mandatory that at 12 years old all children should have this device implanted until they became adults and could prove that they had completed the parenting course and that they had the means to raise a child.
This way, they can hopefully cherish the freedom and opportunities that are available for them in their teenage years and leave the parenting experience for later in life when they are ready. Oh that, and being free from debt!

Do you think that the WTS is going to "collapse" and there will be no JW's?
by booker-t indo you think that there will come a time when the wts will be a thing of the past and people will look into their history books and say "oh yeah those jw's were around for over 120 years and now they are no longer around today in the year 20___?
" my friend thinks that jw's will not collapse and will probably get "stronger" with time.
i hope not because i am just sick of the whole wts and jw's religion.

It might take a while but I think this will eventually happen. I believe that in our day more and more people are waking up to the problems associated with religion in general, everything is subject to scrutiny, including the book the major religions are based on, the Bible. Once people stop believing that this book is the inerrant word of God, the JW's like all the others will lose their foothold, people will no longer listen to their preaching and eventually they will die out or get sued for all their worth. (dreaming is free!)

Would you fight and possibly die for your country?
by free2beme ini want to put this in the right frame, as what is happening in iraq is not about dying for our countries.
so this is what i mean by this question.. if a foreign government were to suddenly invade your country.
would you be willing to join the arm forces to fight for your country, knowing full well that you may die having never been able to reap the benefits of any possible victory?

I don't trust politics so no I would not fight for the country, but if my life or my families life was threatened I wouldn't think twice about shooting someone!!

Article re New Members of The Governing Body

the new members, anthony morris and geoffrey w jackson .
both are men believed to be in their fifties who joined bethel in 2002 or 2006. they both came from the the "nethanim class" of helpers to the gb .. * w92 4/15 p. 31 announcement ***therefore it has been decided to invite several helpers, mainly from among the great crowd, to share in the meetings of each of the governing body committees, that is, the personnel, publishing, service, teaching, and writing committees.

One thing that I read on another thread a few weeks ago(can't remember where it is) is that although for a long time the R&F have been fed the BS that the anointed were sealed back in 1935.......in the recent book "Worship the Only True God" from 2002, it says the following on page 179 paragraph 10:
"First, there was the gathering of the remnant of those anointed by God's spirit, who have the hope of being with Christ as part of the heavenly kingdom. Though such ones were scattered among the nations, they were brought into organizational unity. The completion of the sealing of these anointed ones draws near."
Huh? And I bet none of the R&F caught this, they slid it right under everyones noses!!!

by Legolas inok... i remember ( or at least what i recall..lol) how god had always dealt with people in the bible...kinda like there was 'proof' of him for all those thousands of years...right?
....well how come nothing in the last nearly two thousand years?
if there was a god how come he let the bible get distorted and let all these religions start?

Legolas, I used to ask myself that same question when I was a "bs believer", now I believe God never interacted with humans, it was just some power hungry priests that made the sh*t up to keep the people under control, and everyone was too ignorant to question it, and those that did were accused of witchcraft or going against God and were killed. The interesting thing is that these ideas have survived for so long, but I feel that it won't be long now before many realize what games that old book has played with our minds!! But the age of enlightenment is here, much to the chagrin of organized religion!!!
