take it as a chance to learn to knit or crochet. I started to crochet after my little Watchtower breakdown. My therapist said I needed to pick up an activity that was therapeutic. Now I really enjoy it. I only do a little each normal week but when something tragic happens and leaves you sitting in hospital waiting rooms all day it is a lifesavor. While everyone else is pacing and not knowing what to do with themselves, you can stay relatively calm.

I've been invited to the most boring Bday party ever (Fluff)
by Es inone of my hubby's work mates are having a combined party for there bday (hubby and wife), they are nerdy programmers heheh, nice enuf people but not ones that i would chose to associate with.. anyway this is the party for the guys they are to bring there computers for a lan, or boardgames and card games, and for us lucky women activites include watching girly movies, knitting, facials and painting nails.
no jokes thats how the invite reads...... i am so not looking forward to it at all, its like 4 hours of my life im never going to get back.

Yes, you will be saved according to the bible. The call is currently only for the little flock. All others will have their lips purified and live on the earth. They will have the entire millenium to straighten out their salvation and only the truly vial(which I am sure you are not) will be put permanently to sleep. Zep 3:9 occurs directly after Armeggedon which is the bring down of systems for the purpose of gathering the people not to destroy them.

Shunning for a punishment is limited to 6 weeks for the Amish. If the person wants to leave the faith all together then they will be shunned until they return to the Church. Although, in books that I have read there are degrees generally set when someone leaves so there maybe some contact(letters etc).

Russell was sympathetic with many not just the Masons. If you read his writing he refers to other groups always as Friends or Christian Friends. He was opposed to systems but never to people. This is sadly not the case in the WTBS today

A girl I work with loves garage sales. She got me a great umbrella for my outdoor table for ten dollars with stand and it was a good thick fabric one. She gets great things all the time. I personally hate shopping so I don't really have the patience for it. The occasional flea market maybe but bouncing house to house is not for me.

Elders appointed by Holy Spirit???

yet i cannot ever recall being directed to a scripture which proved all elders were appointed by holy spirit.

I could really see the holy spirit in the Elder that came to my door last year to tell me if a women could not prove she was abused by her husband he would tell her to return to her husband. What a stupid thing to say to someone who wasn't even baptised. That was the straw that broke my back.
