has anyone ever tried it and with what result?
i'm going to a class at the end of march and i am a little bit wary.
i mean as witnesses we are told not to get hypnotized because that will let in the demons.

I am so glad you posted this topic as it was something that I was considering myself. Since you have paid for the class anyway please post your experience and thoughts of what you think personally. Though, I have had acpucture and I loved it but it wasn't for weight loss.

dateline has been running a series of programs on internet child predators.
just a few months ago, they (along with perverted justice) made an appearance in sleepy little murphy, texas.
they used a house 2 blocks from where we live (all those evil, wicked apostates who've been to my home should know).. tonight they ran the episode, complete with the arrest of a local school teacher who was trolling after what he thought a 13 year old boy, a neighbor (literally) and a public prosecutor who killed himself rather than be arrested.
I wish I could have seen it. I bet she was great. Always nice to know someone brave enough to stand up for what they believe in.

when my father spoke to me he said other than emergencies he could have no contact with me, thats fine im cool with that.
but i just got a phone call from hubby from my dad who is apparently holidaying in new zealand, to let me know that my great uncle passed away last night.

This is terrible and I hope my dad forgives me for putting this on here but....
There was a bethelite that my dad wanted me to marry so bad he told me that if I could get him to marry me that he would buy me a convertable sports car as a wedding gift. I seriously considered it but in the long run backed out, the guy was in his 30's and I was 18. It was tough though, I really wanted a sports car. Thankfully I have grown up since then.

entering the hall, i went to the toilet to comb my hair and see if i was presntable.
then once more to wash my hands because too many handshakes....yuck.
In the end I gave up faking the restroom. I would just take a walk outside and enjoy the evening air or the sunlight, until I was ready to sit at my seat and doodle. The only time I enjoyed sitting in my seat is when I would pull out the bible and reread the Song of Soloman. That was some pretty spicy reading.

It's people like you that allow child abuse to continue. It's people like you that turn a blind eye toward monsters who loook good, get their time in, suck up to the right people, while behind closed doors they do monstrous things to innocents. But what the hell do you care? People like you are much more interested in the abstract, in the debate rather than reality.
Frankly I say people like Barbara and Joe are invaluable. People like this have the courage to fight an impossible fight, not only against centuries of legal traditioin, and a corporate religious sect with an unlimited legal budget, but they care enough to talk about it. They care enough about the people who were hurt, some of whom did not survive the trauma, and so they take the entire matter to the public stage.
If you had common human decency, you would understand that the only way to fight horrors of child abuse is to shine light upon it. Abuse works best in the dark, in secret and in denial. It is people like you who foster such an atmospher. It is people like Barbara who fight to change it.
Please don't apologize for such a beautifully stated argument. I love what you said and whole heartedly agree. I was a witness for years and know entirely too many instances of child molestation that was covered up.
Barbara and Joe deserve our thanks and any love and kindness that can be shown. They stood up for what was right and just and becuase they did they lost their children. In my opinion, their children are giving up on two wonderful champions.

in a discussion with a friend recently he told me that the wts gives reasons behind why the all the different blood parts are acceptable scripturally.
personally i have kept up much with it so i had no arguement.
does the wts give reasons why all these things are acceptable?
I didn't think that they had scriptural backing for the use of blood parts but I haven't been in over a year so maybe they have added some. Though, I found out something that I thought was rather interesting. I know a couple that are Orthordox Jews, almost Hasidic (sp?), they have rules on everything. Their meat has to be soaked in a brine solution, no eating of blood is allowed at all. They can't use a knife that has ever cut meat to cut anything else except meat but when I asked them what their stand was on blood transfusions, they told me that blood transfusions are life saving and that life is more important than the law.
Anyway, just a side point. Sorry I am not more help with the scriptural aspect.

I have spoke with Barbara on the phone and she seems like such an exceptional person.
Of course, now, the Watchtower will just say that shows that Jehovah is watching out for them but maybe it might get someone to look deeper into the allegations.

Boy, the Saints really lost it today and I so hoped that they would win and make it to the superbowl. I am glad to see the Colts made it.
