I paid my husband to say that ;o)

don't take this the wrong way, this is purely out of curiousity.. .
assuming you are the working man who makes the money, and the wife stays at home and takes care of the house and cooks and does laundry and all that stuff.. no children!.
how much would it cost to hire someone(s) to do all those things instead?

My wife is like a fine Picasso painting - Her value is immeasurable.
She works in the business with me, takes care of the house, our son, she has expensive taste but very rarely does she indulge her taste and half the time she does, she returns it within a week.
Loruhamahs Husband.
i was just thinking about this scripture in ecclesiastes 12:12 "to the making of many books there is no end , and much devotion to them is wearisome to the flesh.".
the borg loves to use this scripture when people talk about higher education or taking in knowledge to better themselves.
but, here is the conundrum, what is it that ever dub looks forward to at the annual district conventions?
So true.

after today i really have to tell you that it was so sweet to come here and see that i had something that someone likes.
i needed that.
i can say for everything you like, there is something in each one of you i am sure i see that i admire back and if not, i have not yet spent any time with you.
Sparky
How sweet of you to think of saying something so nice about everyone. If I could just apply that in my life--- I mean to say and think nice things and then somehow get off track and get negative again.
We really do need to get together again. It was really great meeting you and you are so full of life and spark. Let me know when you have an open day. I don't mind driving.

Well crap. How do ya'll do those quote boxes???
I am not very computer savy but can help you out here. Click the copy button and then up on the tool bar click the 5th button. It has a clipboard and paper on it. Then highlight it and click on the very last button on the upper tool bar it has little quote marks in it. And, that should do it. Someone else could probably have given better instructions but I hope it helps.

There are several families in the Waxahachie, Texas area that were from Amarillo, Texas. The Bryan Tebo family and the Kevin Goddard family. Did you know them?

You said that you went to Traverse City West in 2004-2005
My mom grew up in Traverse City and my aunt moved back there with her son.
I think that she is still a very active witness. Her name is Nancy Noblet, maybe she changed her name back to Piasecki. Her son is Aust but I think he goes by Nathan now.
Do you know her or both of them?

happened across this article and thought it was really neat.
sheri.
After reading the article I did some calculations and if you lived for 80 years you would have to attend 1.2 different churches every day from the day you were born to attend every major church and all of the sub churches affiliated with each. (34,000 total churches and sub groups) Then you have to figure out which one you were directed to by God.
It is really sad that for all those years as a witness I thought that by some wonderful twist of fate God directed me and my family to the one true religion.
Mavie, I enjoyed your thoughts. It really would be a better place if people were more accepting of each other and their beliefs. It seems that if you take the theme of most of the holy writings they direct people to be kind.
Startingover, I would probably not read it when I was a witness either. God forbid we actually think?
Thanx
