  At the very end of the Service meeting, the brother asks if there are any other announcements that need to be made. (this was asked every week & often an elder reminded of a change in field service, or someone who was ill) Well my dorky brother raises his hand and announces to the entire congregation that his sister got her period today. I could have just died right there on the spot. (I was 12 at the time, he was 9)

  I grew up hating the words "If you really love me......" or "If you really loved Jehovah....." they were always followed with some sort of selfish demand. No wonder it took me so long to learn how to accept real love, without waiting for the other shoe to drop.

  Any interest in a meeting in the Northeast?

  would anyone be up for some sort of cookout / barbeque sort of thing somewhere in the northeast in the next few weeks, perhaps around labor day?

  being in providence, just about anywhere from ncy to boston would work for me.

  we could drink beer, make smores, and tell stories.

  i took this pic last week on the family farm in bonnie scotland.

  her ladyship is busily munching on her toast and marmalade whilst 2 of the dogs watch and drool.. my question is this: both the dogs are top pedigree animals and weigh in at 140 pounds each.
