  PRIEST GETS 14 YEARS FOR DEATH IN BOTCHED EXORCISM.

  why is it that a priest, practicing their 'freedom of religion' can be jailed when someone dies during a botched exorcism, yet the watchtower society faces no jail time when someone dies from refusing a blood transfusion?

  i realize this is in another country, but what happens in north america if someone dies during an exorcism?

  is the priest put in prison?

  Cornici, 23, was tied up for several days without food or water and chained to a cross. She died of dehydration, exhaustion and suffocation.

  They should give him life. Or firing squad.

  Been gone awhile.(Rough past few three months)

  i have'nt been here for awhile.the family and i went through a very rough time over the past three months.most of it has been jw related and how negatively the teachings have affected a brother of my wife who has been diagnosed with bipolar.however,that i will leave for a different discussion.we have managed to pull through it all and we are slowly picking up the pieces.

  i am also hard at work putting the final touches to my book.i will keep you posted on the release date.

  this past weekend i stepped into a kingdom hall after more than two years.i attended a jw funeral of a friend who was not a jw.his family are all jws and i was actually surprised that permission was given to them to have it conducted in the kingdom hall.halfway through the talk i got up and walked out of the hall.i could not bare to listen to the pathetic reasoning laid out by the elder during his talk.hardly any comfort was given to the family in the talk.as one other poster mentioned,it all become just one big jw presentation and "sales talk".this was probably done because of the many non-jws that were in attendance.

  For Lurkers: Is the cover of the March 15th Watchtower deceptive?

  the cover of this issue pictures a group of modern day people standing looking up as if looking to the sky and the title says something like "christ comming what does it mean to you?

  " i think it's deceptive because witnesses teach that jesus already came in 1914. the article is talking about his comming to exucute the wicked and does not even mention 1914, but the photo and title on the cover would lead people to beleive that his comming is still in the future.

  isn't this deceptive?

  hello all i hope everyone and thier families are doing ok. i am doing good adjusting to a new routine was easier than i thought.

  i got my motorcyle back in working order so thats great.

  i was riding with my friend eddy and he told me this girl was intrested in me (one of his wifes friends).

  WT distribution changes in 2008 - Will it effect your literature order?

  some of us here are still active and still have a magazine order.. what do you think will happen when we go to pick up our magazines?.

  will the literature servant reduce our order of the 15th edition to 1 per person?

  It will be one copy per kingdom Hall and the PO must make copies for the whole group. Visitors will be asked to leave after the public talk.

  Did You Do Business With JWs Thinking They Would Obviously Be More Honest?

  i know many people did business with me because i was an elder and had to be honest.

  i never cheated anybody anyway because it's simply not right but i know a lot of witnesses that were "screwed" by other witnesses......what about you??

  i dont remember that much, but arent they suppose to stop by at least once a year to df'd ones?

  or did that change?.

  its coming up to two years now since i was df'd, and not one elder has stopped by...........not that i want them to!.
