Didnt Russell and the rest of bethel, stand on Brooklyn bridge waiting for armageddon in Oct 1914 ??
Im sure I read somewhere that they did
October has 31 days. Winter time. The bridge is very breezy.
Urban legend.
Not exactly urban legend, just wrote time, wrong location. The Russellites stood on a bridge in Pittsburgh on Good Friday in 1878, dressed in white robes, waiting for the rapture. (As reported in a Pittsburgh newspaper.) Russell later denied he was there. He said some of his more "radical" followers were there. Who knows.
