Did anyone notice the blizzard happening outside his window? LOL!
Their videos just keep getting creepier and creepier.
so i was checking out the website to see what the february broadcast was all about before i watched it with my jw wife.. on the front page was this video.... https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/vodbible/pub-jwbai_201607_1_video.
i watched it and pretended i had never been a jw.. if you pretend you don't understand their particular language it makes for a interesting (if not vague) watch.. btw i've seen several of the actors before.
jw version of movie stars?

i've been thinking about this for a while.. did jesus diee on a cross?
does it really matter?
it doesn't change anything that i can see.. is god a trinity?
Study mythology. None of it truly matters.
not too long ago, i posted a topic where i pointed out that there are about 1 million xjws alive right now.
that number only represented the disfellowshipped ones... didn't account for those who had become publishers and left or anyone else who got hurt by that group by proxy.
so, why are there so few of them online?
(1) Leaving the Witnesses is a process and not something that happens overnight. Even people who have stopped attending meetings or were disfellowshipped may still consider themselves a Jehovah's Witness.
(2) Some ex-JWs are so disgusted with them that they don't any reminder of that part of their past lives. I go through stages of this myself, which is why my participation here is sporadic.
(3) Ex-JWs like ourselves are independent souls. Following the crowd for so long makes me want to march to the beat of my own drum even more. I have watched a video or two of Kim and Mike. It's not my thing. Kudos to them for speaking out, but I'm not subscribed either. I am pretty picky about how I spend my time on the computer nowadays.
(4) Even if there were 1 million ex-Jws posting online, that is just a drop in the bucket. There are over 3 billion internet users in the world. Even if you were to break it down to only English speaking countries, that won't make much of a dent. Source: how many internet users are there in the world
there is not much to be analyzed.
in a cult enviromment the leader will always look up for himself.
he would never hesitate to break every rule to save his own skin.
If a Governing Body member needed blood, they would make sure he died and make a martyr out of him. His picture would be blasted on all of their literature praising him for being loyal to Jehovah. They would use it to guilt their members into unquestioningly accept their blood policy.
found this awesome website where you can type two things in and compare anything in a nice neat little chart.
so, just for kicks, i typed in jehovah's witnesses vs. mormonism ... and look!
who the hell gave them the information for jws???

That amount of riprap had to cost a lot of money!
nothing as amusing as a bit of heated xenophobia.
a case in point:.
xenophobe: "i hate america and i hate all americans!".
I live in America. I only hate crazy orange men with tiny hands. What kind of phobia is that?
Loved both videos! Awesome!
supposedly the disciples witnessed jesus' super-power awesomeness first-hand.. so they were all 100% on-board to-the-death martyrs ... right?.
erm .... judas betrayed him.
thomas didn't believe he'd come back.
I think that at one time there was probably a person named Jesus that did exist, and had a cult following for his new hippy-like ideals. I think this story was retold and embellished so many times that by the time it got to written paper, he could walk on water and raise the dead! Jesus is just a tall tale that people have taken a little too seriously.
My theory is just as valid as the traditional one.
i discovered your website this morning as i was trying to find some information about 'marking'.
you see a very close friend of mine was 'marked' earlier this week and as i know the ins and outs of the situation (as we are close friends) i disregarded the talk immediately as i know my friend is obviously having issues but is no way a 'danger' to anybody else's spiritual health.
basically they are dating a non-believer- hence the talk.
Jehovah's Witnesses have always seemed to have very black and white thinking about just about everything, including people. That is why friendships with Witnesses are so fragile. They will lay down their life for you one day, and overnight decide that you are bad association.
Good for you for trying to break the mold! Good luck in not getting marked too for hanging out with your marked friend! You're gonna need it.
