Did any of you ever have "overzealous"parents?

this may have been discussed before but did any of you have crazy strict parents...i mean did they have even more strict ideas than what the religion already had put restrictions on?.

my stepfather had been a crazy drug/alcohol addict before dragging my family into the "truth"...then it seemed he became obsessed with the religion.

honestly...i don't know which was worse!

you know, they were all riled up and saying that the tract would precipitate armageddon and all.

have any of them even noticed that no one batted an eye in response to the "campaign"?

isn't the tract-work supposed to be over now?

i have been out of jws for about three years, husband still goes and brings out two young girls.

he has been really withdrawn lately, eating less, not interested in sex.

i thought he was moping because i recently had a birthday party for our young daughter and because of halloween activities.

in so doing, i camp at least a dozen times a year.

i am out each week, during the spring in summer, fishing and in the fall hunting.

I saw one! I was about 12 at the time, camping with my grandparents out in the middle of nowhere in northern California.
