i'm 30, a christain, i left the jws 3 years ago (after being in it for 21 years) to follow jesus and heard of, among other good things, this great thing called: grace!

" typically the watchtower has pointed to increasing criminal lawlessness in the world as evidence of the fulfillment of that particular feature of the sign of christ's imminent arrival.

Could you show me that scripture where Jesus predicts the end in 1998? Also the one where he predicts it in 1999. And I'd especially like to see where Jesus said that the Y2K bug would spark Armageddon.

funny old life isnt it....
by Deacon ini was just looking out the window, as it would happen a middle aged woman, or perhaps a young woman worn out with her life walked past.
she stopped on the edge of the mall where my wifes office is, and sat on a bench outside the window.
on close look, she couldnt have been more than late 30's, but probably only 35.. she sat for a while just looking at the ground in front of her, her face just exhibiting that blank look of the world weary.

Hi, Cathy! No, what I posted above was all he ever sent. I didn't hear back. I guess he really was sneaking in to mommy's computer, reckon? And got spooked with I mentioned it. I figure, like Had Enough said, he's got issues with his spirituality, so he looked at the pictures, probably had a very stress-relieving session with his private parts, and post-orgasm was overwhelmed with intense guilt, which he tried to alleviate by focusing forcefully on MY evil.
Demon sex... so much more insidious than demon rum. LOL

by zev inone of my step-sons has had a baby.. so at the young and tender age of 39, i suppose you could call me..... grandpa .
everyones healthy and fine.
there were no complications.. and grandma zev is beside herself.. __.

Out of the Woods
by Mommie Dark insome of you may recall that mommie's older jw brother was critically injured in a fall at work last winter.
he fell 30 feet from a ladder and landed on his hardhat; his initial prognosis of doom gave way to astonishment when it was discovered that he had broken no vertebrae... no permanent spinal injury at all.
after weeks in a drug-induced coma, the swelling on his brain subsided, and he woke, complaining, to the great relief of all family members, who recognize irascibility as normal behavior for one of us.
