  i finally got the list for the us and canada.

  i can't say which one your relatives or "friends" are going to but i can tell you what the sites are.

  i notice they are not posted yet on the www.jw-media.org website.. many did not get their march 1, 2007, wts in us congregations until this week because the site of their convention had not been announced at the congregation level.. there are several english conventions being held at the newburgh, ny assembly hall and the queens, ny assembly hall as well as at the west palm beach, fl assembly hall.

  WTS vs Quotes: Requiem for a Research Web Site

  in compliance with the terms of a settlement agreement, my information and research web site, http://quotes.watchtower.ca, is now "dark".

  the domain "watchtower.ca" has been transferred to wts (i assume they will have it pointing to borg.org watchtower.org asap).

  my copies of the site have been destroyed, the files deleted, and my wt library cd has been destroyed, in accordance with the settlement agreement which will afford a "discontinuance" of their suit against me.

  Telling someone you've known a long time that you were a JW

  tonight i was out having dinner with a friend/colleague i've known for five or six years.

  the conversation turned to religion: first religion in politics, then his general distaste for religion, and then his lack of a religious upbringing.

  there was a lull for a moment, and then i said "it was pretty much the reverse situation in my household.

  Question about 2005 district convention dates

  i've been informed that for jehovah's witnesses in the vancouver, canada area, several district conventions will be held in chilliwack.

  could someone please post the dates of those conventions, as well as the name of the venue?

  (if you happen to know the start and end times for the program, please throw those in too.

  i received a phone call from an old non-witness friend tonight.

  he's just proposed to his girlfriend and they're getting married next summer.

  she is catholic; he is agnostic.

  last night, after my post regarding ray franz comments of bill bowen's posted statements, i received a good number of email and phone calls.

  one item consistently surfaced regarding ray's assignment to write the chapter in the book, organization for kingdom preaching and disciple-making, by the title of safeguarding the cleanness of the congregation.

  in the chapter, the "two witness" rule was outlined.

  Where did 9/13 interview w/JR Brown come from?

  i'm listening to this mp3 recording of an interview with jr brown about the wt's child abuse policy right now which i found on watchtowernews.org.. how was this interview obtained, considering that brown wouldn't speak directly to dateline or panorama but only issued a video release?.

  just curious.

  for some reason i can't find anyone discussing this interview on the board--maybe i've overlooked a topic--and it seems pretty significant!.
