Do you know how strong you all are?
by jgnat ini'm thinking this morning at the enormous effort required to leave the witnesses.
that you all found your way here is amazing.
you are a select group of strong people, who will not allow life or any organization to knock you down.

Bamboozled.
by Blueblades inone of the saddest lessons of history is this: if we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle.
we're no longer interested in finding out the truth.
the bamboozle has captured us.. it's simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we've been taken.

Absolute first sign:
Realized Society was wrong about the "resurrected people being like angels" Scripture. The Society got "brighter light," eventually, and I was "running ahead of the chariot." That made no real sense to me. The logic was there all along, unchained. They were the ones who were stubborn about it.
Second sign:
Realized there was no Scriptural basis for requirement of confessing sins to elders. Studied long and hard.
3rd sign:
(Fill in this area with all the standard failings of the bureaucracy and the elders general attitudes.
4th sign:
After being inactive, and finding this site, I learned about all of the things (fill in this area with all of the exposed things), and realized I was bamboozled. -

Sorry guys, didn't know I was a retard...
by Wasanelder Once ini looked to find that the original of a certain video was also removed.
it turns out that what was presented as public domain was in fact copyrighted and wrongly posted by some jw.
i found it and thinking it was published with permission to use, as are most all videos on the site, i lampooned it.

Every pic on the Web of me, from the pic my old college uses for the Track alumni, to a recent (June 16) pic of me doing a poetry reading, I HATE.
So no pics until I get some better ones!!! -

he grew up in the world wide church of god and i as a witness.

Not really a big deal.
They also have phone numbers to call to initiate the ACH money transfers that us accounts servants would do each month. Those numbers aren't spread around freely.
Nothing but Standard Operating Procedure for a corporation's sales directors to upload info on a nonpublished website. -
