  The Truth From the Bible About the 144,000

  i hope this wont take me too long, as being concise isnt my biggest talent.

  a recent thread on the 144,000 made me put a couple of things together about the governing body.

  these are the ones that claim to have authority from jehovah, to tell the over 6,00,000 that although we arent masters over anyones faith, these 150 items are absolutely prohibited for you to do.

  You guys obviously dont understand that the FDS has been given full control over Christ belongings on earth since 1918 (Yes that is in Rev too )

  this has by far been the best xjw forum i have ever been on, but the time is coming when i must move on to other venues.

  the net is very time consuming, and i cant keep up with every post on here, no matter how hard i try.. .

  im embarking on a new journey here in the next few months, and i just have to break myself free from the internet.. .

  Here is what I do....I log on to JWD after I have taken care of the important things in my life that need my absolute attention....From there I read whatever is on active topcs...or look to see the old topics where I have posted a comment, because it stired my interest. I never look back at what may have been posted before as it will come up in a comment in the new topics anyway.

  yep, everyone i have talked to -----first question they ask----but where will you go?

  i tell them anywhere as long as it is away from the clutches of the wt.

  God and Jesus do not disappear, I say, He is always there....no need for an organization that only exist because of donations from it's members. Without the members to donate, it will cease and die. Money keeps religions alive. AND that's the truth!

  How ethical is it to sow DOUBT in the minds of sincere Jehovah's Witnesses?

  we know that we can't always take the direct approach and we know that even a short, reasonable discussion is often out of the question with jw's we may love dearly so we often try to place a little doubt in their minds.

  we want them to start questioning cherished beliefs.. is this fair of us?

  are we placing our our own agendas ahead of their needs?

  Hi, Deborah, I understand your dilemma...When I left the WTS..I tried attending other churches but found no solice there. What has worked for me is my own personal study of the Bible and God's word. I ask for the Holy Spirit to guide me in my understanding. I feel at peace with God as an individual worshiper. I to believe Jesus is NOT Jehovah but his son as stated in the Bible.

  What do you think about the Kingdom Ministry Question Box?

  Why is the organization concerned about a few associates getting together for deep Bible study and to learn Greek and Hebrew?

  Seems odd doesn't it?

  Can you direct me to the link discussion of the KM question box on JWD? Thanks
