I have a friend who is a Mason.....BUT he doesn't know about this board....He is a very nice person, but of course he is very low on the totem pole of Masonites. Personally I know next to nothing about Masons. My friend doesn't talk about what goes on behind the dark curtain, and I don't ask.

its more like a hypotist and his subject than a brainwasher and his victim.
the methods for keeping people under the spell may be cooercive, but that were put under by their own consent.
I see it as a kind of hypotist propaganda also. Reading their books and mags, I notice over and over and over and over again the WTS compare their organization and the GB with events and characters in the Bible. Like they are the modern day equivalent of Daniel or Isaiah. I wouldn't, couldn't see it that way.

abraham was "tested" by god to see if he would sacrifice (that is kill!
) his son if told to do so.. jehovah, who could read what was in hearts and so really did not need the test in the first place, let abraham make the preparations to kill his son to see if abraham would really do it.

by roymond inthroughout jesus' life, the only thing he ever reacted to in either a judgemental way or angrily, was religion.
he got angry enough with the people in the temple, whowere persecuting the poor and stopping people coming to god, that he whipped them and kicked them out the temple.
indeed there are plenty of examples where jesus calls people hypocrites, for demanding rules and not following them themselves.

1/ preaching aethism (as opposed to putting it forward in a respectful way as an alternate viewpoint.

The new shoot to kill powers given 3 days before they made the arrest of those 9 suspecte terrorists was so obviously a ploy to politicise the situation. Stating that they needed the extra powers (which were already in place anyway) due to suspected terrorist activity in Aus. Low & behold a few days later the sh!t goes down (as planned), and all the ignorant nob heads pat the priminister on the back for a job well done. This current government (and the opposition mind you) make me sick...vote green people! damn shame "gods kingdom" was sucha farse:(
