  in jw land,...how do they deal with the below verses?.

  if christ (according to jw's, not me) returned invisibly in 1914,...then who do they say the "man of lawlessness is who proclaims to be god"?

  ....because the verses say that christ's return will not happen until this "man of lawlessness" is revealed and will perform deceptive signs and miracles.

  The apostle Paul foretold something else that would mark this counterfeit religious system. He wrote: “Let no one seduce you in any manner, because [Jehovah’s day] will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed.” (2 Thessalonians 2:2-4) This “man of lawlessness” is none other than the clergy class that exalted itself into a ruling position over the “Christian” congregation.

  Of course the GB did no such thing. They received a heavenly calling..........

  it would be alot easier if they had symbols on here for everyone below their names.

  i dont know if they do or not.. i try to back the jws, but i dont know if i am talking to athiests, other christians, disfellowshiped ones, or people who just left the truth.

  it would be nice to know sometimes.. you might ask why i would wanna know because i should answer everyone the same way, but on here you cant.

  A label is a one dimensional description. Barcodes tend to be multi dimensional given the sequence of numbers having a meaning. But then again, you would need a database with the meaning of every single digit. So, anyone wanting to post here would need to pick a barcode and maintain that in the course of changing believes and circumstances.

  Did you say: mess? Ah yes, quite so. Sometimes you need to concentrate on people you like to get to read better. And if you want any clarifiction: just send a pm. APart from hat: don't be afraid to make a mistake.

  We have discussed several cases on this board relating to voluntary work. Basically, I see a very managable way out: No official WTS involvement in the preachingwork analogous to the, I believe, S77 form of which it is made clear that no reference whatsoever is to be made on that form alluding to or suggesting any WTS involvement in coming to a descisions on a persons status in the jw community.

  So, basically, informal control. No official papertrails. No reports sent to WTS HQ/branch. Just 2x a year the CO visiting. No writing, no WTS forms. It's the local KH business.

  Cheep and easy way out.

  How about projecting a countdown clock behind the back of the public speaker. Every outline of the talk is divided into section which may last only 5 - 10 minutes. Programm that clock with the outline title and the amount of time set for that particular item. No, watch the man go into overtime and the hall becomming restless and not paying attention anymore!
