it can't be that hard to get a few together for a few. i vote for this fri 11th, sat 12th. however if more of you would care to make it fri 18th or sat19th it can be arranged. also kind of in the mood for human contact as opposed to the keybored (and i do mean bored) so regardless if anyone cares to join me this fri let yourself be heard. perhaps it would be best to pm so we don't have any lurkers lurking if we do make plans.

i agree with gerard on this one.... follow the money. after all this is nothing more than a publishing/marketing company posing as god. not to suggest that they are not also a destructive cult, but at the top it is about pushing paper for pockets. so in following the money one quickly realizes there is a very big pile of money. following further one comes to what is done with the money... exposing these truths would go along way to opening the eyes of alot of jw's to the real truth. someone else mentioned the internet and the revolution of information this presents all of us with. all of us except those that are slowly being governed to avoid and ignore it. the church of scientology currently supplies its members software to filter anything contrary to their own doctrine. can the gb be that far behind? does anyone know if the filter software is already being used among the jw rank and file?

i was thinking today about my business.

i've been working in the field of educational therapy for the past 4 years, helping children and adults with learning challenges.

in the past year, i started working with infants as well, supporting their first year motor development.

hi crumpet, i saw from one of your posts that you are going back to work today after a long lay off.

i really hope everything went well for you.

i know from personal experience how hard it is to get back into the swing of things after being incapacitated for quite a while, i broke my ankle some years ago and had to take a couple of months off.

bad day, bad year

spent all day today downtown being shuffled around to this building and that trying to get temporary assistance.. what a nightmare.. everyone tells you something different.

and it's so humiliating.

i didn't work my ass off for 17 years for this.. it's just very hard to think of losing my fiance, my house, my job, my cars, the use of my hands, electricity and heat, all in 8 months.

i was always scared of leaving the witnoids, b/c i thought i would become what they said you become when you leave... sad, lonely, drug addicted, demonized, prostitute...whatever..... but here i am...a 20 year old w/ a high school education only...and i'm sitting on the 8th floor in my own office w/ a picturesque (sp?
