To athiests who hate God
by EndofMysteries inquestion, if this is true, in the book of enoch chapter 10:11-12, "all the sons of men shall not perish in consequence of every secret, by which the watchers have destroyed, and which they have taught, their offspring.12all the earth has been corrupted by the effects of the teaching of azazyel.
to him therefore ascribe the whole crime.
if that is god's truth, and your only accountable for your own wickedness and actions, would you feel guilty for your accusations against god?

Song Book changes - the 'real' reason behind them - EYE OPENING
by EndofMysteries init's very interesting comparing things that are removed.
for one, new world order and new world, new order, all being eliminated from everything.
just research nwo, "new world order", etc, to see.

If only we had a PDF of all the changes, showing the old and the new verses side by side.
Also, I wonder how many times Jesus is mentioned without the FDS in the same line.

New WT Article on "grieving" Jah's HS
by daniel-p inso an old jw friend just contacted me on facebook to tell me to check out some new article on not grieving jehovah's holy spirit--he said everyone was talking about it and that i should check it out.
he knows i've been inactive, and this is the first time he's contacted me in years.. of course, he's known to get excited about things quite easily, especially in his manic states (bipolar).. anyway, does anyone know the article of which he was talking about?
probably just a bunch of gobbledygook, but i thought it would be funny to read the latest gb tirade..

Thanks, mythbuster, i got it now. There are some real turds in here.
First we have an example of King David "grieving" God's Spirit by commiting adultery:
"Grieving the spirit can be the first step
leading to the total loss of the influence of
God’s active force in a Christian’s life. That
this is possible is evident from what David
said after he had sinned in connection with
Bath-sheba.David repentantly begged Jehovah:
“Do not throw me away from before
your face; and your holy spirit O do not
take away from me."Then we have a most apt example of a brother "grieving" God's Spirit by some "bad music."
"Even in private, we could be tempted to
do something displeasing to God. For instance,
a brother may have been listening to
questionable music. Eventually, his conscience
becomes troubled because of ignoring
Bible counsel presented in publications
of “the faithful and discreet slave.” (Matt.
24:45) He may pray about this problem and
may recall Paul’s words recorded at Ephesians
4:30. Firmly determined to do nothing
thatwould grieveGod’s spirit, he resolves to
avoid questionable music from now on.
Jehovah will bless the spirit the brother
shows. Therefore, let us constantly guard
against grieving God’s spirit."The juxtaposition of those two examples is amazing. If it takes King David till after he screwed Bathsheeba to be afraid of losing God's spirit, I don't think listening to "bad music" is high on God's radar of offensive behavior.

CO talk: "Jehovah's Witnesses killed Jesus"
by sd-7 inmentioned in his talk last week that the jews, who had the name "jehovah's witnesses" applied to them, killed jesus.
i found that a particularly revealing admission, simply from the way he said it.
"jehovah's witnesses killed jesus," he said.. he went on to explain that the coveted title of "jehovah's witnesses" was taken from the jews.

I'm confused. Sounds like the CO is, too.

undercover... you're right, I think. The last conversation I had with this guy was him asking me when I was going to start pioneering again (this just after my near-death experience for refusing blood, trying to pioneer again, failing, and then starting college). I got pissed off and said a few things. So now he takes it upon himself to "encourage" me.
Gawd I love this religion!!

Should The Police Be Able To Search Without A Warrant?
by minimus infor example, if you were stopped for suspiscion of driving under the influence, should the police be allowed to search through your cell phone?.
-
daniel-p
I think there's something called probable cause? like if he smells marrigiwanna or akohol on yer breath... I dont see how looking through your cell phone could possibly qualify. Of course all this is thrown out the windows with the Patriot Act....

"Letting Spiritual Light Shine Online" - Watcthower.org gets 70,000 hits a day!
by slimboyfat ini am reading the new 2010 yearbook at the moment.
on page 13 it says www.watchtower.org gets 70,000 hits a day, and that 24 million people visited the web site last year, a 33% increase since 2007. .
simon, how does that compare with this site?

V And Watchtower Comments
by KingDavidwasframed inhas any one heard what happened or if there will be more?.
-
daniel-p
He made the best videos revealing the Watchtower for what it is that I've ever seen. Everything else is either super campy or from Christian apologists just trying to get you to join another religion.
I sincerely hopehe is able to continue the cause.
