Special Talk 4/30/06- Your thoughts on it-Jehovah being in Control
by architect infrom what it sounded like the special talk was another whose side are you on jehovah's or satans.. from the beginning the speaker said there is no new information!
he said "if youre not for jehovah then youre for satan- case closed!".
he also mentioned that jehovah has always had control of his creation!

Why is it always the Husband?
by architect inwhen it comes to talks and study articles about marriage, why is the emphasis always put on the husband about making the marriage work, over emphasis on husbands loving their wife?
women are just as equally responsible for what happens in marriages, yet the wtbs devotes 3/4 of an article on what husbands should be doing and 1/4 on wives, and thats only to be submissive and be respectful, how sad!

thanks for the feedback all........Maybe if the GB/writing committee wrote more about what wives should do, they all would get jacked up and get the cold shoulder and everything else that come with your wife being mad at you!!!

Sure I realize men are kings ok and maybe losers, but lets be honest about it, more time need to be devoted to wives would'nt you agree? Its a hidden fact that sisters are leaving their husbands too!

i've been lurking and learning for a few months.
former elder who drifted away due to congregation hyprocrisy and politics.. went through many of the feelings of inadequacy and/or lack of confidence for a while but the longer i was away the stronger i became.. i'll tell more about myself later but right now i want to thank all of your for sharing your thoughts and comments.. it's truly amazing how bright the light can get when you really learn the truth and get out of the "organization".

Wait now! if it comes from the WTBS its coming from Jehovah! case close. That is what all is taught.
Jehovah is dealing with imperfect men and so things could be given to us by mistake.
If something is a mistake than "Jehovah corrects it" .
this is what my Moms (30 faithful years in the truth) told me yesterday when I qusetioned the WTBS.

I think its a cover up. To say "the scriptures" to say "Jehovah" when all along its the WT/GB who is saying these things. One can't walk away from this study and think that everything we do is now up to our conscience! From this point forward pass it along to your friends that if they get in to trouble- for them to say "I did it because it was a conscience matter".
