Our small town newpaper article on "Shunning"
by ButtLight ingogetter from here on the jwd, finally got an article in our paper.
if i remember correctly, she has tried several of times, but they wouldnt print anything that mentioned jehovahs witnesses, or if "kingdom hall" was mentioned.. im sure most people put two and two together, when "door to door" was mentioned anyway lol.
way to go girl!

a certain bible-reading friend thinks that her apartment is full of angels.
in last week's discussion of angels, i understand that an angel is only sent by god to certain people in order to complete specific messages from jehovah.

i think i agree with a previous poster, why rain on her parade? My personal thoughts are following, we make our own angels... if we believe there are angels, then they are there... we make angels out of what we need... i mean, my kitty at one point was my guardian angel... we need it and our mind gives it to us... leave her be if it makes her happy... dont fall prey to the DUB need to make everyone believe the same as them

Have you ever had a really bad haircut? (rant)
by restrangled inwent to a salon today with picture in hand.
i spent 2/1/2 hours suffering in the chair, (foiling and cut).
i wound up with about 6 to 7 inches lopped off and came out looking like a big haired, bubble headed 80's special.

my cat died today... i need consoling...
by theinfamousone inthis is the guy that sat on my razor blades the one time i was thinking of cutting myself... this is the guy that everytime my dad beat me, would come to my room and lay with me... this is the guy that one time jumped into the bathtub with me while i was crying after a brutal beating, the cat hated water... this is a cat that was more family to me than my own father and mother combined... this was my best friend... .
today i had to do the hardest thing i ever did, i had to choose to have him put down... and as he fought the vet, and tried to bite her, i put my hand on his head, and he stopped struggling... and as they put the last needle into his leg, he purred until he died... the vet says she has never seen that before... this was my best friend and i had to kill him... fuck, im a baby, but i miss him soooo much.

well, this may be stupid, but i wanted you all to know i finally moved on! i miss kitkat so very much, but i have finally gotten a new kitten... and so much he does reminds me of kitkat... thanks to all of you for your help and friendship at the time, it meant alot and i needed it!

Movie Clips That Have Made You Flinch

there's not much that makes me wince, not at the movies anyway, but those things that have, have inevitably stayed in the memory.. i saw it a long time ago at the cinema, but the reservoir dogs scene where michael madsen cuts a policeman's ear off to the track stuck in the middle with you, was one such scene.
certainly couldn't watch it again.

i can think of two right now... in man on fire, when he cuts the fingers off in the car and then cauterizes them,... yuck
and then there's the infamous curby scene from american history x.... i think the ones you dont actually see are the worst...
as for hostel, IT WAS JUST STUPID... didnt flinch, just wanted to turn it off because it was sooo stupid
