so i get to work on saturday (i wait at a banquet center on weekends) and my boss tells me to keep the jokes and fun to a minimum that day....i asked why, and he says because jehovahs witnesses are getting married.... oh damn, and i know em all!!!!

wow, it really sucked to be honest with you!!

the people are all like i know your father and he gives such good talks... hows your congregation and bla bla bla... omg, rough night, so i went and got drunk, at work that is... i spilled drinks on two of em, and i swore at em and called em names, and still they tipped me... alot of money!!

i remember years ago a my cousin was being "harrassed" by the elders in her hall about not going out in field service, being "wild" etc; my cousin was only 20 years old at the time and i think she just wanted to have some fun in her youth.

my aunt who has been a jw's for over 40 years was extremely strict on my young cousin.

i think my cousin just could not take it anymore so when the elders called her in for a committe meeting for the upteen time my cousin told me she just snapped and cursed all four of the elders out.

the elders can and will do whatever they want... even if it wasnt "lawful" they will make up their rules on the go... its retarded, and i could have cared less if they did df me...

its funny, i did much worse than that, even punched one of em in the gut at the hall and never got diffed, they just liked me i guess... hypocrisy...

i agree, ive always had trouble with that one, since i was a child... perfect sounds so boring to me.... like half the fun in life is knowing that it could end very soon, would we lose the need for adrenaline, would we really be having fun... the only cool thing about their paradise is the animals... isnt it funny how they always, ALWAYS emphasize the domestcated animals for the kids??? they always ask what do u look forward to in the new system and kids always say "to play with lions and animals"... the mind control starts early... besides i think a lion in the savannah is much more beautiful that a freakin one in the zoo...

ok... i just found this and i know it's been posted before, but i had to comment!!

i have tried to justify some of the changes, but this one can only be a lie.

it's a direct quote apparently from something somebody said.. so he either said 'within fifteen years' or he said 'soon'.. it is not possible it's just become clearer what he said, or they misheard him the first time.

i hate their stupid conscience based bs... they tell us its up to our conscience, then they tell us we cant do things that will hurt other ppls consciences either... like when the elders pulled me aside for playing soccer for my soccer team at skool, which led to free schooling for me and invites to our national team for that matter... but anyways theyre telling how i CANNOT play, and i told them that the watchtower and YPA books say its up to my conscience and i was perfectly fine with it... they go, yeah but someone else may not like it, and it may be a stumbling block... i was like if theyre that weak do u really want anyways??? wow, i got a two hour long meeting out of that one... DAMN!!! the shit we put u with...

Anyone else miss the kids at the kh?

i've been thinking a lot lately about the kids in my former congregation.

i miss them the most.

i was the sister who hung with the kids and took interest in them.

i think i feel more sorry for them than i miss them,..... i remember what it was like to be sitting there, bored out of my mind, and hit, pinched or whatever just for whispering something to mom, or for wanting to go to the washroom.... i feel bad, cuz i know they must hate it as much as i did.... DAMN, POOR KIDS, they are gonna have to go through the same torment we all did to get out of the mind control cult!!!
