  I need some advise (I want to get divorced)

  i'll start this post off by saying i love my wife, she has beautiful qualities and a sweet personality.

  however i realize (and i think she does too, though she may not admit it) that since i left the org behind our goals and viewpoints are no longer unified.

  as a couple we rarely fight or argue, we still have many of the same values but yet we have some issues that i know will never be fully resolved.

  handle being called on by jw's in service?

  do you try to 'show them the light' or just be polite, or even angry?

  also, i heard it rumored once that the local cong's kept a file on all 'apostates' in their territory and wouldn't let the publishers call on them for fear of them being 'turned'.

  Badger,

  I have to laugh when I see that response as that is exactly what my husband did one morning! He has never been a JW but he got sick of them beating on his door every Saturday (this was before we were married). So, one Saturday when the knocking started, he got out of bed (butt naked), grabbed his SKS, flung the door open and said, "I've been waitin for you!" LOL!!! I wish I could have seen it. He said the looks on their faces were priceless!

  we can use your face for a halloween mask if it freezes suddenly with that expression on it.. how would you feel if your sister died after you said such awful things to her?

  since joining this forum, i went only 2 or 3 times, each time with the same conclusion.

  i just can't do it anymore...even before joining this board, i lost the desire to go there.

  So what your saying is that skipping the meetings for 1o years is kinda like skipping a soap opera for ten years!! LOL< I hardly ever watch daytime TV but have noticed that if I turn on a soap it is usually the same story line from five years previously!

  los angeles, california (reuters) -- actress-singer jennifer lopez has married her current boyfriend, salsa singer marc anthony, barely five months after breaking her much-publicized engagement to actor ben affleck, us weekly reported saturday.. the magazine said lopez, 33, married latin music star anthony, 34, at her home in los angeles saturday in front of about 40 guests.

  us weekly said it had pictures of a giant tent assembled on the estate and of guests coming and going among tables covered in white table cloths and flower centerpieces.. "it was a lovely low-key intimate affair for the closest friends and family, " us reported a friend as saying.. "she didn't hardly tell anyone.

  everyone was surprised," another unidentified friend told the magazine.. representatives for lopez and anthony could not immediately be reached for comment.. the reported marriage comes less than a week after anthony was granted a quickie divorce in the dominican republic from his wife of four years, dayanara torres, a former miss universe.. it would be the third marriage for lopez, the sultry star whose previous trips down the aisle have both lasted a little over a year.. tabloid news reports have linked anthony and lopez for weeks.

  I just posed this question to my hubby awhile ago and am wondering your opinions? Why do you think this woman does this? Just for publicity or can she possibly have low self -esteem? I know alot of woman latch onto men in this manner because of low self-esteem but my god this woman can sing, dance, act and is very pretty so how could she have low self-esteem? If I looked like ehr and had her talent.....damn! What do ya'll think?
