many years ago, as a young child, i purchased my mother a gift when she was in the hospital.

it is a pot painted with purple orchids and it came with flowering bulbs to plant, which has a little saying on it "a mother's love fills the world with happiness.

" every trinket that i bought or made over the years, my mother cherished.

half a lobster as a starter, with salad garnish and vinaigrette.

the main course comprised a sirloin steak, bubble and squeak, topped off with a fried ducks egg.

What is bubble and squeak????? I have heard of it but never knew what it was!

We got up this morning and went out to eat. I had two pancakes with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries on them. My hubby had eggs, sausage, pancakes and biscuits and gravy. He was HUNGRY today!!!!

Whenever I run into JW that shun me

i haven't been df or da, just left.

i run into jw's in restaurants, grocery stores and on the street and they act so stuck up, or give me a dirty look if i smile at them and say hello.. i then think to myself, what reason do they have to act so arrogant toward me?

they support a religion that promotes the secrecy of child molestation.

Whenever I see some in public and they look down their long noses at me, I usually say very loudly to the person with me, "Oh there's So and so, look they are looking at me like I am trash cause I don't go to their church anymore. But wait, they have a kid who is in prison for theft, or oh, he got convicted as a child molester (or whatever the case may be). I say,"I wonder how they can look at me when they have done those thing!"" Usually, they get very red in the face and walk away quickly. I know it's rude of me to do but how dare they act better than me!!!!

i watch the news and all commentators act as if our winning is a given.

yes, we are the biggest, baddest nation; we have the nukes, but what if?

I feel that while we won't lose, it will last awhile But, if we would have just went in there and done the job right last time we wouldn't be having this problem right now (at least not with Saddam). We should have taken care of it in the Gulf War. And I am so sorry there are people here who don't like our President..........those of you who condemn him, did you vote? Did you make a choice in who won? Or did you stay at home on Election Day cause you were too scared of what the WTBS told you for years about voting being wrong? IMHO, DON'T mouth off about a political leader if you did not take the time to make a choice.

i have been out for 7 years now and i am happier than i have ever been in my life and was from the very first moment i left!

the only reason i even go into ex-jw groups is i like to make fun of them and other exs are the only ones who understand what i am talking about when i make a funny comment??

The only person I am angry with who is a JW is my ex-hubby and I am only angry at him cause I wanted tor emain friends but he didn't. So,,, why do so many people freak out when they leave?
