I agree, he is an odd person. But I love the banter in his movies. It is some of the best written dialouge out there. I LOVED Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. Dusk to Dawn was so-so. He could have stayed away from the vampire stuff and made a great movie but they still had their moments.

LOL! Yep. that's exactly what I said about Uma. She can look drop dead hot or NASSSTYYY!!!. Sorry, but I do like Vol. 2 much better. There was just a bit too much Kung Fu in part one for me.

Went to see Kill Bill, Vol. 2 this afternoon and it was FANTASTIC! I was highly disappointed in Volume 1 but they had to do what they did in it to make this one. I am a huge fan of Quentin Tarantino films and this one did not disappoint!

How Do You Make Friends Now?

in the org we had ready made "friends" by virtue of our affiliation.
i found that after leaving jw's it was hard to meet people and it took me a long time to make friends.

I have made four of my closest friends through one of my old jobs. We calle each other and chat on-line all the time even though we no longer work together. Only one of us is still at the same place. And we try to all meet once a month for dinner and shopping (except the one who moved out of state but she visits twice a year and we all get together when she is here). They are the best friends I could ever want.

Finding out that some compromising photos my ex husband took had ended up in the hands of a teenage brother in our Hall and passed around to ALL brothers between 15 and 40, married and un-married! ERGH!

" the kid who hit him has a very rich father and it happened in a very small town.

Lost
by Puternut infeeling lost today.. it's the weekend, and i will be once again going home to an empty house, where my children won't be welcoming me home.
i haven't seen or talked to them in a very long time.
i won't be able to kiss their sweet faces, or hold them close to me, so i can tell them i love them.

I am so sorry about what your going through. If there is anything at all I can do to help let me know. And keep trying to stay in touch with your kids or if that is not possible, keep a daily journal of your thoughts of them. That way, when they come looking for you someday (and they WILL) they will see that you never forgot them and that you love them VERY much!

Celia, the song you are referring to is by Eric Clapton and was he wrote and sung it in honor of his small son who died. He announced this year he is retiring the song because it has been MANY years now since his son died and he has come to a bit more peace with it.
The song I hate most is "don't Worry, Be Happy."
