ALL TIME FAVORITE "OLD" MOVIE
by sandy ini just finished watching "splendor in the grass".
for some reason i love to torture myself with sad movies and sad songs.. the end of that movie is so heart breaking.
actually its bitter-sweet but when you are still stuck on someone who you cannot have it is heart-breaking.. i had to restrain myself from calling my ex.

I LOVED 80's music and still do. Every weekend one of the radio stations in St. louis does a "Way Back Weekend" and plays all 80's music and I just love it.

Ok, I am back from the hospital. I could only spend 15 minutes with him cause of the "10 minutes" per visit rule. I bent it and stayed an extra five. He was feeling a bit better tonight. They told him that if he can make it through the rest of today and all day tomorrow without any incidents they would move him to a regular room on Sunday and then if he did okay there, he could go home on Tuesday. Everyone please send positive thoughts!!! I was alot more hopeful after seeing him tonight. He had alot more energy and was more "himself."

Well everyone, I am a bit down tonight. I don't know if ya'll remember but a good friend of mine dies in January. Now her husband, whom I am even closer to as I have known him longer is also going through a bad spell. She dies of cancer. He has cancer also and now his heart is trying to repel all the chemo and so he has been suffering heart attacks off and on since Sunday. He has had three now and is in the ICU. I am going to fall apart if this man dies. He is a best friend, a father figure, the one person in the world I can count on to cheer me up when all seems lost. I love him and hope like hell he pulls through this.

Apostates are very disappointing. I just found the WTS is true about them.
by reason inyour conduct, attitude, manner of speech, avatar, all of these shows what sort of hearts you people have.
i can't feel the holy spirit operating in you people.
the first time i exposed myself to apostates, i was imagining matured people, more matured than the jw's.

A call to the childfree/childless....
by Doubtfully Yours inany particular reason for such decision?
i have health fears, so long ago i decided against having children.
sometimes i feel afraid of growing old alone and lonely, but lately i've realized that having children is no guarantee of any future situation.

I wanted kids BADLY when I was younger. I wanted around 3 or 4. I told my ex JW hubby this when he asked me to marry him and he said he wanted kids too but wanted to wait at least 2 years. Sounded reasonable to me. Two years went by and I told him I was ready and he said,"I don't really want kids. I just lied to you because I was afraid if I told you the truth, you wouldn't marry me." DAMN STRAIGHT I WOULDN'T HAVE! That was probably the beginning of the end for me. Then he started screwing around on me left and right and that finished it. I then went through a series of bad relationships with the wrong kinda guys and knew I didnt wanna have kids with anyone like that so I got my tubes tied. Now I am older and married again and really enjoy my husband and my step-daughter lives with us full time and thats enough for me! Now I am kinda glad I don't have any cause one is definately ENOUGH! Lol!
