Add my name to the "did not like going out in service" class.

i cannot believe how credulous many jws are regarding the religions near obsession with supernatural beings.
apparently young kids misbehaving is a result of demons.
what irritates me the most is that this woman was more concerned with an alleged person with a "dangerous mind" placing the tract she left back on the car, than the fact that she left two children alone in a parked car.
This is complete madness. This mentality was definitely on my list of why I left. I sometimes felt like the only sane person in the asylum when I went to the KH.
Maybe she should have just said Jehovah 3 times and the demons would run off cowering.
How about this, if your kids are acting up, a good spanking and/or time out in the corner might work, but I guess she got rid of the problem by getting rid of the tract. Probably treats all bad behavior by her kids this way. Kids act up, instead of send them to their room, get rid of that crystal vase that weird aunt betty gave you. Gee do you think that her kids are only "bad" when she has a reason to believe they would be? I bet they will be the kind of JW kids that just go off when they are teens while mommy still thinks they are perfect.
If my kids are possesed by demons, I want the whole show, you know: speaking in tounges, head spinning, making people disappear, etc... "acting up" seems like such a jip to me!
some excerpts from the october 2002 our kingdom ministry insert regarding the new schedule for the tms:.
introductory remarks.
5min study point several paragraphs of one of the 53 studies in the new benefit from tms education (to be handled by the school overseer, his helper or perhaps another qualified elder).
Joe, I was thinking the same exact thing, just reading from the bible or WT? How boring is that? And I guess the little dubs who do the talks won't have to look anything up in the old publications for commentary. I remember when you could stop the reading and give commentary throughout, they made it more and more boring and useless over the years.
anyone remember the one where kirk got mixed up in the transporter and spit into two people?
one kirk was mean and violent and nasty and tried to feel up yoman rand and swore a lot and attacked people for no good reason.
the other kirk was sweet and nice and he seemed better, but he was kind of a woosie and couldn't make a decision or do anything meaningful except talk about denuvian slime bread toppings and he couldn't even get a bulge in the spandex for yoman rand, but at least he was polite.. gosh, i don't know what made me think of this episode.. night all,.
Big Tex: Its got a few deleted scenes re-inserted into the film. You can also turn on a caption that gives you insight into different things about the scene, etc.
There is also a second disk with interviews of the cast and then interviews of the effects people. Then there is this thing about books which I didn't watch. Its pretty cool. As a special edition DVD I give the entire product 3 out of 4 stars. Of course the movie is still the best one.
.
enjoy your day at work !.
we have a bank-holiday today so we're all off to bask in the sunshine (taking umbrella's naturally) and sit in traffic jams..
We dont have labour day...
Labour? Labour??!!
Oh Simon, could you please spell our holidays correctly? Its bad enough that in your country you get days off that are reserved for banks, but then you discrace our holidays with your extra u's?!
Well, I guess it could have been worse, you could have called it something like "su percbrezel"

looks like pure language network is going to go down soon.. poor robots, where can they find any information now?.

Simon, of course the WT would want to shut down these sites for the reasons you stated. Even though pro JW, they still get "good" witnesses feet wet on the internet. Its like the gateway drug to the crack that this site is.
apparently, ole dubya thinks congress is only there to rubber stamp his "war initiatives", not authorize them:.

Elsewhere, read the WHOLE constitution. The president is commander in chief of the armed forces. He can send the military wherever he wants to "wage war" so to speak without a formal declaration of war by congress.
This certainly has precedent in history. Look at peacekeeping forces that were sent to Somalia, and the Baltic states under Clinton. Grenada and Panama during Reagan/Bush 41. Who did we declare war on in Vietnam? Nobody! These actions by our military did not have to be authorized by congress.
after the recent awake dealing with gambling(still with no biblical reason not to) i still feel that gambling in moderation is fine.
i know in the "flock" book gambling is not the sin, greed is.
it also says that we should try not to see gambling for entertainment as good, however it does not come out and say "dont gamble or you will be in trouble".
Every time I go to Vegas, I usually gambe around 10-30 dollars on quarter, nickel and occasionally dollar slots for fun.
Yes, gambling is much like celebrating birthdays, twisted scripture. But then again those are only two glaring examples with the Witlesses, there are many more.
My wife's great grandmother was DF'd for playing bingo at her retirement home, go figure.

Yes, the longer the Saddam's of the world get to roam free, develop weapons of mass destruction, aggravate their neighbors and kill their own people the better for humanity I say!
