  first a clarification, then my apology, and last comment regarding th:

  mr. eakins (aka trauma_hound) has stated a number of times that he wishes i would take matters off-board to settle in private email as he has done with others.

  my comment about you being a wuss could, would, and should have been taken in a better context by you.

  Continuation of the blood issue...

  mrs nightwarrior here,.

  i have to write a new post, but sort of in answer to the uk blood policy... i am sooooo angry.... i know that this involved the children.... but 10 years ago my lovely husband underwent major surgery, all done without blood.....he wrote us all letters in case anything 'bad' happened....he was left in the ward with other people telling him to take blood.....but he stood up for what he believed to be the correct way of thinking....i am not saying that he would change his way of thinking today, as we all know of the thigns that can go wrong with blood transfusions.....but.....the wts are so busy changing policy... that people's lives are being played with....how many lives have the wts destroyed by not allowing blood transfusions... i could cry....i have been brought up with these beliefs all my life, until recently... and boy this is one of the hardest ones to accept.. especially when you have been on the receiving end.... these people at wts need a good kick up the back side...the wts took away the freedom of choice for so long, and now with possible law suits being made against them.

  hey... now time for policy change.... how come only the uk... what about all the other children around the world whose parents are being pressurised to stop blood...i could spit..... oh well that is me venting my spleen.. lol... sorry for the outburst, but i just felt that i had to say something, it may sound a little disjointed, but hopefully you can all make sense of it!!.

  NFL Playoffs: Week-By-Week Predictions

  colts 23, jets 15 (the jets had their super bowl vs. the packers).

  packers 21, falcons 17 (i have a hunch that atlanta may pull the upset but you can't root against the pack at lambeau).

  i went to a racially mixed congregation in the northern suburbs of illinois.

  i found that things done in the congregation if done on a job would cause a person to get fired.

  (in fact i know a jw who was fired for sexual harrassment.

  Dude, a lot of witnesses I knew would make all kinds of racial statements that would not be acceptable in the "world". A lot of parents would get mad if their white daughter were to date a black guy, or vice versa, even if they were all witnesses.

  How much money is rich?

  i was just reading a posting blasting president bush for being rich, and therefore not looking out for the average american.

  that is another issue, not for this thread.. my question is this: what do you consider rich?

  When it does come into play is when your government says, "you are rich, because we have arbitrarily chosen x amount as being rich and therefore we are going to take more money from you then we are your neighbor ho makes under x amount."

  What fives my government or any other human being for that matter the right to decide how much money it is OK for me to make?
