  I am so angry and frustrated right now

  i cannot be very specific with this because i do not know who is patrolling these boards to try to catch faders (like me).

  my mother has been very ill for a long time due to multiple health issues, all of them stemming back to a very low blood cell count.

  before i even began to have doubts, as well as my father asking me about the 1975 debacle, i kept wondering why god (i can't call him jehovah now that i know the truth) would allow such a wonderful and selfless person to suffer if all they needed was something that was produced naturally in our bodies.

  Elinor, until I looked at JWD I had no idea how often your situation, or something like it, comes up.
  
  The Pharisaical teaching on blood has caused so much unnecessary misery and then we get the mindless platitudes from others. It's like reasoning with a drug addict.

  Met/spoken to two former Jw's I knew this week

  what a strange week, first someone who posts here turns out to be someone i knew from many years ago, and we end up speaking on the phone to catch up and share our experiences, and then last night i'm in the supermarket when someone says hello to me and when i turn to look its another person who used to attend my old congregation.

  his reason's for not going was the lack of love shown to him and the fact that questions he was asking were going unanswered - sound familier?

  I posted a reply to Frannie when she was upset and the internet was down so I kind of missed the window of opportunity.
  
  I think she was in an elevated state and had been upset by some unkind comments but I never found out what they were.
  
  If I remember correctly, she has a battle with bipolar disorder. (manic-depression)

  i spotted two russian speaking jws doing street witnessing in my neighborhood.

  i was going to say something as i walked by but didn't know if they were actually russian or americans that speak russian.

  there would have been a lot of confusion.

  well today i realised it is all coming to an end.

  ever since i was about 6 i have been attending meetings but for the past ?teen years have never been fully convinced of what i was being taught.

  of course there are the talks which give you hope that you are doing the right thing but it only takes a few weeks for the feeling to wear off.
