  Does the Watchtower Society spy and keep tabs on "apostate" websites?

  recently i asked the question about lawsuits that the society brought against certain websites.

  i got a lot of good information.

  it seems, of course that the watchtower society, in typical fashion, will by any means suppress an opposing view.

  'Theocratic Warfare' would guarantee that trusted senior dubs are asked to monitor websites and blogs.
  
  I've read a couple of people have been 'outed' here on JWD over the last year or two but it seems they didn't go to too much trouble to keep their identities as secret as they could.

  great.

  the wall street journal did an article yesterday about a pastor at a baptist church having a woman arrested for trespassing after she had been 'shunned' for spreading 'poison' within the church.

  Actually, no mention of JW's would indicate that they are viewed as one of the insignificant religious groups and in many countries have never been heard of.
  
  This probably surprises us who are, or have been, Witnesses.
  
  We all thought the world was standing up to take notice of our message. But that's what we told ourselves.

  When I was at high school, about '77', there was a pentecostal group at school who made much of their belief that those who belonged to the antichrist were going to submit to having a BARCODE implanted in or tattooed on them.
  
  This would be the start of all the nasties and the economic collapse of the world etc., etc.,.
  
  So... this was 31 years ago.
  
  There is nothing new under the sun. As long as there are youngsters involving themselves with religion we will have the 'calamity howlers'.

  JW's not the only one preaching the end is near. Born agains are doing it.

  i get this news letter daily from a biker friend who used to sing with my band.

  he is a born again type and has a ministry to outlaw bikers called the prodigal sons.the wactower is not the only group that preaches the end is near.

  i think its a biblical message that people that read the bible tune in too.i think the problem with the wactower and the end of the world is they or i took it seriously, and they tell you not to get an education and make provisions for living in this system, which is also somewhat biblical.

  I'm back... and OFF of Paxil. But memory loss??

  hey friends.... been a long time since i've posted.. some of you will remember me.. i still troll in from time to time.. one interesting thing, i'm finally off of paxil now.

  my depression was real bad after a bad experience at the borg.

  i was on about 40mg for about 5 years - which is a significante dossage.. about a year ago, i started weaing off and six months ago i went completely off of it.. i feel good and very refreshed.

  I think those that have indicated that stress and depression have caused the 'memory loss' are correct. I used paroxetine hydrochloride (Paxil) for 4 or 5 years and during therapy was able to put some of the bad things in the right stream of time. I don't think it will be the meds.
  
  Paxil is the next SSRI generation of anti-depressants after fluoxetine (Prozac) and some people respond well to it and some have a disastrous time. And vice-versa.

  i also am the one even people i hardly know come to for advice because i can usually figure out exactly what to do in any difficult situation.. .

  as you guys are probably aware, the new watchtower for studying has shed new light on the generations issue (ie whoops we got it wrong, we were right before) .

  the co's here in aus have been briefed to inform the congregation (either formally or informally) that is is part of the cunning of jehovah .

  when jesus parted the non beleiver disciples from the core 12 (or was it 13) he made an outrageous statement and watched the weak walk off - thats exactly what jehovahs organisation has done today .
