If it's true, I bet on Gerritt Losch. He refused to testify. Strategically disfellowship him, tuck him away in some corner of Brazil (no extradiction policy), and he'll never be able to testify. Zalkins will have to name a new defendent, perhaps Tony Tight Pants?

"You can't believe anything science says, they're always changing their minds.."
by disposable hero of hypocrisy ini know this is going to come up in a conversation shortly, how would you respond to this?
i've had it said to me before, specifically about health, one week wine/eggs/milk/axle grease is good for you, next week it's not..

Scientific facts do change. They change because new theories are proven to be more correct through the use of the scientific method.
Next time one who believes that scientists make it up on the fly, should go see the priest instead of a doctor.

Monotheists my ass!!!
by Crazyguy inwe have been taught that the hebrews were monotheists believing and worshiping in only one god, except for those times when they sinned and worship pagan idol gods.
their one true god is yahweh / jehovah.
comparing the book of genesis with older sumerian and babylonian writings what do we find?

i've reached a point in life where i don't argue ideologies anymore so i don't have much to say.
i've been out for decades and believe i've been mostly de-cultabilized (if that's even a word).. my family is still in and i haven't had contact with them in years.

Hypocritical video on jw.org "what's a real friend."
by stuckinarut2 inhave you watched the 4 min animated white board drawing video on jw.org called "what's a real friend?".
it is one of the most hypocritical pieces they have produced!.
it goes into detail explaining that real friends "don't judge you, dont talk about you behind your back, don't hold grudges, don't expect you to conform, and encourage individuality!".

The most judgemental of my relatives are JWs. I have been enjoying getting out of the Truth at 17, going to college, saving money, having a spouse and kids . . . for the past 40 years. I am upper middle class. They are livid. Snide comments to me and to my relatives and close friends. One non-JW relative told the JW relative that I bought a new truck. The sh** hit the fan. Instead of being happy for me, it was pure jealousy in tone. 'How much did Skeeter pay for it?' 'Why did Skeeter buy that model?'. I cut tthem off for my own sanity becuase they became sooooo damn judgemental. The truck was the last straw.

Bat sh** nuts is how I describe 85% of the JWs. 15% are so humble, that the 85% really take advantage of them.
My sibling wanted to set up a play date with me and her bestie JW friend. This JW friend was a math teacher, intellectual, and soooo nice. I declined. Anyway, ended up the JW friend was on alot of meds and needed alot of professional help. Addictions, pain killers, bipolar, and stole money . . .

God is not genocidal
by mistified inso at the meeting a few weeks ago the speaker was having a talk about inactive people and then he went on about how people think the god of the old testament was cruel and genocidal.
he then said that god and did not commit genocide because everything he did was for a reason.
i was shocked at how stupid that saying was.

Loving Jehovah. Amazingly, people say that they have a reason for a killing too! Even Hitler was justified. The formula throughout history is: 1) Make the people your enemy via talk, 2) Kill in the name of justice.

Tight Men's Pants Designed by 'Homosexuals' to Be Indecent, Warn Jehovah's Witnesses
Thursday, 13 Nov 2014 10:18 AM
By Nick Sanchez
Anthony Morris III, member of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 2005, said in a Saturday sermon that tight pants are designed by homosexuals to make young men indecent, and compared them to tight-fitting spandex on women — which he said God also condemns.
"What’s happened now is that it’s really caught on more — the tight suit jacket and the tight pants. Better known as tight pants. They are tight all the way down to the ankles. It’s not appropriate. It’s not sound of mind," he said,
"Like I've been telling others — and this is a fact — the homosexuals that are designing these clothes, they like you in tight pants! That's who likes it. Not spiritual people."
According to Raw Story, Morris gave a similar speech this past summer against what he calls the "metrosexual look."
"Do you remember that many, many, many homosexuals are in the clothing industry and doing the designing," he said in July. "Don’t you know they love it when you’re wearing tight pants? Oh yeah, you chuckle. I don’t think it’s funny. I think it’s disgusting."
According to research published in the April 2012 issue of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, those expressing negative attitudes toward homosexuals have a higher likelihood of being homosexuals themselves. Special The Truth About Social Security (AARP Expert Speaks) "Sometimes people are threatened by gays and lesbians because they are fearing their own impulses," study co-author Richard Ryan, a professor of psychology at the University of Rochester, told LiveScience.com after publishing.
"It appears that sometimes those who would oppress others have been oppressed themselves, and we can have some compassion for them too, they may be unaccepting of others because they cannot be accepting of themselves."
Ryan cautioned that "hidden homosexuality" is not the only source of negative attitudes toward gays, and that environmental factors — such as how one's raised — can also contribute toward such attitudes.
