this is way kool in medical technology...but where does this leave the faithful jdub?
i was to understand that in a transplant, the donors blood is in the organ, i guess if it were not, then it would be a "dead" organ.
i would like to know more, as this will affect some one near and dear to me some day i am sure. as most of my family is still in, this could affect those still hanging on to dictates from wtbs.
the wtbs will change their teaching i think. if the blood of the donor is still in the transplanting organ, then wouldn't this go against the taking of whole blood?????
i'm sure a gb needing a life saving procedure, will come up with "new light" and save his old and wrinkled arse!!!

Bloodless surgery!!!
by NikL ini received this e mail from a faithful dub who is all excited.
i got to thinking about it and now i am excited too.
since i am not going to change a dubs mind about the blood issue (brooklyn has to do that) at least i can try to get information out there so that those who insist on following the b.s.

Dedicated
by joelbear ini have a question for the group.. i am wondering if anyone has ever had a dedication and baptism successfully anulled.. i clearly recall that i did not answer the 2 questions when asked with the baptismal group.
i have an enormously strong aversion to lying and i knew that i was a homosexual and therefore didn't feel like i could answer the questions truthfully even though i was a virgin.. if i was never dedicated in jehovah's eyes how can i be disfellowshipped in his eyes.
i never took the vow, so doesn't that basically just make my baptism meaningless.

i do not think that your baptism was a true baptism(you did not dedicate your self to GOD) but in the eyes of the jw's, you made a public declaration, and you did not agree with the questions asked before the dunking, sooooo
imho...you were not really baptised...just publicly dunked. however i think that if you leave( or have left) the org, it is null and void any how..and your are future buzzard pikkins. -

Is There Something Sinister At The KH?
by Englishman inever since i departed the jw`s, i have pooh - pooh`d the idea of satan, devils, demons, witches and warlocks and laughed at jw paranoia re smurfs and demonised objects etc etc.. just recently, i have had some thoughts as to why jw`s are so obsessive about this subject, suppose that:.
what if the jw religion were itself of satanic origin?
consider the facts:.

here's a thought...jw's down play of Jesus ( the name above all names that every knee shall bow)
so in calling out "jehovah"( the demons do not fear this name) leaves the jdubs vulnerable to the "demonic" asault.
this is for those who believe in the being of satan and his hoards.
i do because i believe what the bible says is true...
but on the thought of the authority of God's name, seeing as how most all jw's do not believe in the power of jesus name, then then false security of the name "jehovah" fits in this perfectly, like handing some one a plastic water pistol to protect them selves..looks like a gun....
just a thought

i will tell you a little about myself and my past.. as much as i can for now anyway.. one of the most scarey parts of joining a group is i am afraid to put my name on here.. will that mean i will get a visit from the elders if i do?
i think they put the fear in me :).. .

"out there"....a SCARY place to be!!!
by chipster inwow.....thanks for the warm welcome.... i was just thinking what an interesting journey that it's been since june of last year, when i was dfd for the second time.. some of you wanted to hear my "story"...well, was raised in the truth...elder, pioneer (wanted those special blessings, ya know) cir ass.
parts, the whole thing... left my wife of 27 years, and made the long trek back to reinstatement after 18 months of humiliating abuse by the most dysfunctional group of "spiritual men" (yeah, right) that i have ever seen.
finally came back, crawling on my knees(i was "humbled", don't you know)...well, without getting into details, "sinned" then "confessed" and was promptly dfd again.... the scariest part at first, of being dfd, was "being out there" without jehovah's protection....all alone...no one to support me in my spiritual recovery....subject to demonic attack.....jehovah withholding his protection and blessings.....sheeeesh, that's enogh to scare the hell out of anyone!!!

JW's -tree huggers worst enemy
by TR inmuch of the work i do is at vacant, repossessed, and abandoned houses.
almost without exception, i find wt literature that was "placed" there.
what a disingenuous way for a jw to get rid of wt rags.

i'm a mobile pet groomer
i could use the old mags in the bottom of puppy cages
my husband could use them to build his fires( he's a black smith)
oooo, how about shredding them for packing material???
or for t-paper (why bother reading them..they'd make lovly wipes at the camp ground, sears catalogs are too slick now)
