there is more to my story...

i started yesterday about my mom being a jw and my being so confused about, well, just about everything.

like i said earlier my parents got divorced and then remarried.

my dad goes to the meetings sometimes when he is not out gambling or making someone miserable with his hateful demeanor.

Is the WBT$ Destroying our Enviroment?

how many trees are cut down so the wbt$ can print literature that most jehovah`s witness`s will never place and most people don`t want?..how many forests are destroyed so the wbt$ can print articles that will be obsolete when the inevitable "new light" arrives?..besides the destruction of lives,is the wbt$ destroying the enviroment?...outlaw

VERY good points Triton Logic, I never realized the even WORSE cause of all the darn flyers in my mail box. The people should be protesting THEM, not the loggers...the darn flyer and unwanted newspaper distributers....ug!

I have a note on my mailbox now that says NO flyers, but I stil get the odd anoying newspaper.

Newspapers should be baned anyways, thye just cause depression, speading misery.

If people need to know what is going on in the world they can look on they're computer, or watch TV.

I Still hate the news though, and won't watch it or ead about it.

after years of research, i think i've finally come across the biggest hole in the basic doctrine of jw's .

they say that there is no hell...but that you can live for eternity in a world full of nothing but witnesses.... .

...i'm not sure, but i think this statement contradicts itself??????

the one thing that i have to say about the wts is that they crank out some of the best apostates anywhere!.

i've only been here a few weeks but i am already so addicted to this forum.... the people here are unbelievable!.

probably a mix of the most knowledgeable, helpful, compassionate, and open-minded people anywhere on the net.. the way everyone jumps in to offer their support when someone else is feeling down or hurting, the resources of information that are there for the asking, and the non-judgemental attitudes that people convey, even when they dis-agree..... it boggles the mind... how, in the world, did any of you ever attend the kh?????.

I think it is great too, people here are obviously smart enought ot have left, or finally seen through the BULL , so they are way more spiritually minded than any witness would ever be. It takes a lot of courage to show yourself (for many) that what you learned your whole life was wrong, and to stand against the UN-TRUTH, is very applaudable indeed!

ok, i'm going back some 40 years into the organization so some of you may or may not have heard this.

i remember in my jw life, at different conventions/assemblies when the speakers would be talking about things related to the paradise earth.

they would always say, "if you pictured yourself there, then you will no doubt be there.".

I believe in that concept for sure, it is similar to "what the bleep" and "conversations with God",also just about any success seminar will tell you the same thing.....see it, and you will SEE it.

What Is Wrong With the Religion "Wicca"?

i am currently an agnostic, i am suffering from depression because i cant seem to know or realize if this "jehovah's witness religion" is really true..i mean what is so true about it.

im only 17 years old and i feel that i need to find my religion.

right now im currently dating a wiccan.

If you love it, and i5t makes you feel good inside, then go for, it. Even if just for thre purpose to learn about it.

I know I have never heeard any GOOD out comes from going through the hell of the witnesses......I was 10 times more carefree, happy, loving and innocent before they warped my mind.

I am JUST leaning to love myself and others again, and relizing what damage they're judgmental attitude did to my person.
