  JWs - Prudes or not Prudes?

  i was looking at jwconnections out of curiosity thinking i'd find a selection of prudish jw women but was shocked to find that some of these women don't look prudish at all.

  they'ed probably give worldly women a run for their money.

  maybe things are changing.

  Also(slight digression), I thought JWs weren't meant to use the internet nevermind have a dating service, so I was led to believe on this site. Whose been telling porkies JWs or JWDs?

  Thought I Was Out Of The Woods

  well today i was having lunch with my mother, who is inactive, and hasn't been to the hall in a couple of years.

  recently she's been hounded by the elders, because of all of the christmas decorations.

  even though she hasn't disassociated herself, and she won't because she doesn't want to alienate herself from her family, she attends another church.

  I think JWs are good at doing nice little keep them keen tricks with verses from the Bible. These tricks are indoctrinated amongst all the R&F of the group unlike Christendom's R&F that wouldn't know a bible if it hit them upside the head, however they DO KNOW that Christ was born on 25th Dec, ironically a cult date. Interesting development of Christianity. No wonder the Jews and Muslims can't take christianity seriously.

Before the 6000 page finishes many of you good people here will apostasise and return to JWism. There will be signs in the servers, routers and web browers and then end will come. Then there will be 1000 pages of peace where millions of lurkers will have the chance to become active.

  Another stupid blunder by the WTBTS.

  many times the wtbts are pretty good at changing poilicy without looking to obvious to the r&f as being sneaky and having a motive behind their changes.

  normally they can even justify their change as scriptural to the unwary.

  however, when they changed the baptismal questions, it was more obvious that there was "motive" behind the change and some exited the group because of the change.. this thread is for those who have never heard of the change before and were not aware of the current stance the wtbts has taken regarding baptism.

  That sounds more like you are joining a club than accepting the salvation that Christ offers for those who believe in him as the saviour. Maybe they put that bit in to remind people that they are actually under contract to abide by WTBS rules however unsavoury they might be, including shunning ones family.
  There is nothing about Christ. Or did you just not paste it?
