Do we have non-Biblical evidence that Jesus Christ existed?

XJW,
I don't think there is enough for us to go on to allow faith to do the rest of the work. God if he exists in any form has abandoned his creation. -

Pilate, Ciaphas and Herod in historical terms are insignificant compared to the miracle maker- Son of God yet there is concrete evidence of the existance of these characters but non for Christ. But at the same time these people are mentioned in the bible, they did exist, so why should not the most important of these characters, Jesus, have existed? It makes sense then that if the bible got it right about the others, it follows that it must be right about the existence of Jesus.
If we found a stone with Isous Xristos carved on it, we all know that christendom would miss use it, so maybe God had all the evidence destroyed, if you believe in all this stuff. -

It sounds like you are both in love, I'd go with love not this Organisation, that's all it is, an organisation of people who believe in their interpretation of their bible. Over the last two years I lost a couple of women that I really cared for and I tell you it's hard. Finding someone you click with is not easy, there might be plenty of fish in the sea but most of them will not be compatible.
One other thing, stop calling it the "truth", they have made so many false prophecies that you actually have to laugh when they call every other religions the disgusting harlot. -

Jesus constantly asked his audience to have faith. Why?
by Spectrum ini read a few chapters of mark and noticed that jesus kept asking/saying to his disciples and everybody else around him to have faith in him.
after seening this word for the nth time a became suspicious especially since he was performing miracles infront of their very eyes.
why do you need faith if the evidence is right in front of you?

I found your post quite hard to understand but I believe you are saying that faith is not believing something when there is no evidence. This kind of faith you ascribe to Mark's verses sounds like a holy spirit type entity. We don't know what it is but we accept that it is very important.
So you are saying that Jesus wasn't actually telling people to believe in something but add a spiritual attribute to themselves called faith? -

It just leads me to believe that these miracles never happened, the author knowing this, covered himself by telling his future readers to believe through faith.
Why does the bible play the faith game? According to the NT, Paul didn't need faith, he got a direct supernatural message from Christ. Jesus himself didn't need faith, yet he asked the lowly to have faith on very little information. All that says is they believed out of ignorance.
It's obvious that you should come up with the goods, then let people decide which way they want to go.

The back of the chair is convincing but trying to get demons out of mirror images is another story. They are just not believable.

How I got my daughter out of the CULT of Jehovah's Witnesses
by hopie inmy husband and i were both raised and baptized as jehovah's witnesses.
my husband was an elder for over 15 years.
during those years when he was an elder, our eyes began to be opened to what was going on behind the scenes, that their organization was more political than biblical.

Watchtower Paradoxes
by jwfacts ina couple of weeks ago there was a post about watchtower circular reasoning, or paradoxes.
it fits very well with an article i wrote so i have included a couple of examples.
thanks to whoever posted the idea and sorry that i can't remember who it was.. .

But couldn't we create circular reasoning for anything in that case? It's nicely constructed but does it stand up to scrutiny? Are your questions are set up to lead to circular reasoning hence giving it a predetermined meaning? Are your questions valid? I'm only asking so that I can be assured of the validity in your flow chart so that I'll have confidence to use it.
