yeah, biggish moment for me.

i've visited mission ranch in carmel, california occasionally over the last 15 years.

it is a restaurant/bungalows establishment owned by clint eastwood.

i'm not usually on at night, so i just want to say hey to everybody.. i'm monitoring my g'kids while mama is out of town on business.. they are 12, 13, 15, and 16.. with a complete hatred i'm beginning to hate them!.

When you realized that it was all a lie.. how did you cope?

i realized about a year ago after much lurking here, that the truth was in fact a lie.

it rocked me to my core to come to the understanding that everything that i have been taught, believed in and taught people myself was in fact not true.

when you are a born in like myself, the teachings of the wts become all you know.

I got pissed off and shared my feelings with the elders and forced them to DF me for apostasy. Looking back, if I had had a cooler head I would have prefferred to have DA'd with a pithy letter. What ever, I never looked back with any regrets or doubt. It is a screwed up cult and most people are in it, not out of conviction, but because they are trapped by circumstances, like family and mates and you name it. Poor souls.

no guilt after celebrating a friends birthday

so last nite i went out with a few friends to celebrate a bday.. and i had a great time!!

i did not feel like i was sinning, or turning my back on jehovah.

i sang happy birthday really loud!!!

If you can celebrate a birthday with no guilt then you must have a conscience so scarred by evil that you no longer know the difference between good and bad. From here it is just a short step to killing and eating babies, or, worse, not underlining your Watchtower lesson.

Contemplate this photo of a Victorian parlor. It puts me in mind of your writing style, CoCo. I mean that in a good way. You are kind of 180 from, say, a Mickey Spillane! I can only imagine the effort it takes to create the elaborate constructs of your musings.

Getting back to the tooth fairy analogy - Only small children find a quarter under their pillow where they left a baby tooth. When they get old and lose their teeth they get mush.
